The say that Jesus is God, is rather stupid considering that the literal meaning of Jesus is "Son of God". It's a title that can apply to more than 1 man over the aeons.

The Trinity is not Father, Son, Holy Spirit

The Forefather is he/she that created the Mother and Father. The Neutron of every atom.

Jesus (or Joshua in the OT) means Salvation/God saves.

Jesus was one of many spiritually advanced human messengers here throughout the ages. Would be very inefficient of God to have sent in only one messenger in all this time.

Focus less on the messengers and more on their good messages for us to have love and compassion for one another.

Many religions and spiritual systems taught people to look within. But so far it is human nature to look outside of ourselves for God and for a savior.

We are much more than just tiny human bodies. A piece of God is within all of us, and that is love. Unconditional love.

What does it really mean that we are created in the image of God and that the Kingdom of God is within us.

It's odd that many believe God will judge and torture us in fire for misbehaving. Wouldn't that be God judging and torturing self?

That said, while we are in the human form there are many beautiful divine systems in place to nudge us back onto the good path to love when we veered off it from free will exploring and not knowing any better yet.

And being the stubborn creatures that we are, when we fail to see or heed the nudges and subsequent nudges then become stronger for our benefit we mistakenly believe those loving nudges to be punishment from God.

We save ourselves by gaining the wisdom and benevolent maturity to choose love over ego.

To becoming softer, less harsh, and less judgmental humans with more caring, understanding, kindness, unity, cooperation, and respect for one another.

Respect for life instead of deceiving, harming, conquering, and killing one another for personal gains and supremacy.

Jesus, just like all the other human messengers, taught us the homework we all needed to do. Not to do the homework for us as many wanted because it is a lot easier and more convenient for us.
