However, he went on to become the Chief Architect of Berlin during WW2, and the Nazis forced him to join the party. When he didnt comply they shipped him off to a Russian camp. ( He got "captured" ) Upon release he reunited with family. He complied due to the war although he hated the Nazis. My mom fled Berlin with a suitcase at age 17. Im the result of her and my AF dad.(American) |
