If I recall correctly, in Acts 2, Peter quotes Joel's prophecy about the last days, to explain their speaking in tongues on Pentecost, suggesting that the "last days" began nearly 2000 years ago. (It may be different terminology, and I dun't have it in front of me, though).

I'm afraid that people are so use to being spoonfed the bible that very few have ever allowed the Spirit of Truth to guide them into the scriptures. It's really sad, that the treasures of the Kingdom are only for those who will take the time to dig them out. God rewards diligent seekers, not casual inquirers.

This is, obviously, before the Lord’s return:
2 Timothy 3:1 - “This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.”

The Lord hasn’t returned here also:
Hebrews 1:2 - “Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds.”

Jesus hasn’t returned here either:
2 Peter 3:3 - “Knowing this first, that there shall come in the last days scoffers, walking after their own lusts.”

The way they've been misled is into believing something called dispensationalism. In simple terms, what that means (and I'm sure you probably already know this) is they believe the Bible teaches that the Nation of Israel is separate and apart from the Church, or the Christians. The Bible teaches something completely different, which is that the Jews and the Christians will be brought together under Christ as one body (meaning the Jews will finally recognize Jesus as the Messiah), and that a mighty Davidic Kingdom will be set up and fill the whole Earth, ALL before the Antichrist shows up and before the Lord's return. See, Jesus is returning to take control of this Davidic Kingdom. The NWO will not be allowed to come to fruition, according to the Bible. This Davidic Kingdom is the one that will replace it.

Let me ask you this....If I were to say that all things are in agreement in Christ would you concur with that? I think maybe you would.

If there is any question at all about anything at all in the past, this life, or the future.....the Bible is the final word and anything that is suggested by any human (even a "pastor") MUST pass the Scripture test and must be tested by the Spirit, or it is complete nonsense and should be avoided like the plague. You down with that?

I am rarely surprised by what can be "far out" doctrines I come across in the world today. It is heartbreaking to see a human become caught up with a type of spirit whose only aim is to lead a person astray and away from the Spirit of truth.

I am curious as to where are you getting this information? Is the sole source strictly what you believe the Bible says with no outside influence?

I was taught it by the Holy Spirit and reading the Bible! Reading the Bible only and not the prophecy books out today! I'm not saying I know all the mysteries of the Bible, but this is what He showed me when I asked Him for the truth. And He told me to post it on this forum. I didn't want to do it, and I put it off for over a week, because frankly, I expected the kind of response that it would get and I thought it was meaningless to do it. But I did it anyway because He told me to put it out there. So there it is. People can read the scriptures themselves to see if it is so and ask the Holy Spirit to show them the truth too.

You cannot confine God to one book, in fact you cannot confine God to books at all.

The Spirit of Truth, the Paraclete is a person that Jesus promised would come from the Father in the last days to help his followers and give them their food at the proper time. There is a very clear criteria for them in the bible and describes what they have come to do and that includes deliver more words from God and his Son. The Revelation also talks about how he puts this person on this throne and warns them not to let anyone take their crown. Michelangelo knew the truth about this person and that is why he painted a fresco of her that sits in the Sistine Chapel in Rome. You will also find her mentioned in Micah 4, Malachi, etc etc...They are also mentioned in the Dead Sea scrolls by Prophet Isaiah.

I would ask only one more question as your point of view and your perspectives are quite uncommon. Why do you believe that only a select few have come to these conclusions? To suggest that there is some hidden truth that has been withheld from the majority of mankind but revealed to you and a few select others does not really jive.

The Word of God is for all men to freely come and partake of.

Yet, you claim exclusivity.
