Dirt Diver User ID: 4563437 Belgium 10/05/2012 09:55 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'm presently in San Jose CR. I can walk anywhere in the city at any hour and not worry about my physical safety. Even if you are by chance robbed, Getting physically assaulted only occurs on very rare occasions and the police investigate these incidents with greater veracity than you do in the States when a murder occurs. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 4286207 what does this have to do with hunting? Nice! this shill just gave itself away! the agenda behind banning hunting is ofcourse depopulation of hummans, not geese or whatever the fuck. wake up and smell it these mofos need a precedent, and here they are creating one, no guns in the whole of costarica and oh wonderful no crime! and the cops REALLY do their best to catch those few criminals, yeah, they go out of their way to persue the ones breaking laws. amen for this non gun society of utter peace! Hail! In Costa Rica we are trying to live harmoniously with our environment and let nature seek it's own balance. Perhaps you could learn something from us. i'm sure some of you are, but to what cost? Agenda 21 ring a bell? Nevertheless i wish you the best in your harmony, and remain convinced that i could learn alot. |

JennOfArc User ID: 13109200 United States 10/05/2012 10:32 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | There are more deer in North America now then when Columbus arrived...and they are healthy and not starving because we control their numbers... Quoting: BRIEF Deer Management and other policies actually contribute to deer over-population through the cultivation of food plots and so forth. The states with the MOST hunters have the biggest over population problems. The reason for this is the almighty dollar. DNR is all about revenue. People don't realize that a lot of deer "management" actual entails precisely this type of "mismanagement" for the benefit of hunters. Hunters can then say they're culling the population, all the while the programs in place are keeping the deer numbers elevated for the hunt -- and all the while other predators are effectively eliminated from the ecological cycle. It's a big ruse, and people should educate themselves on this before they buy into the PR that hunting groups so cleverly spread around under the auspices of "conservation." |

This is where your moral compass is broken...to compare wildlife to humans is absurd and even evil... `This is where your moral compass is broken...to compare wildlife to humans is absurd and even evil... Nuke Iran, Egypt, Pakistan,Libya now!!' I quote your last post and your sig... some people might even see your position as ironic- I just see it as sad and quite frankly- a danger to the existence of the human race on this planet... I find it rather sad (and ironic) that brief has the utter nerve to use morals as a standpoint.... and it certainly reinforces my original posts point.... `why would you oppose a humane cull of an obnoxious, dangerous animal that randomly kills for no good reason???' looks at an `obnoxious, dangerous animal' altho imho he's never killed anything in his life- too much of a `pussy mercun' and as for morals- brief wouldn't know them if they slapped him in the face, followed by a fullon facial gangbang with a `be nice idiot' every time.... quite frankly- I (and I suspect most posters with a half a brain or more- see `Brief' as the `typical' yank poster- and that my american friends is what you are up against... and believe you me- his posts take a LOT of tolerance.... OMFG... I `seee' the light.... I am doubting that brief will ever say this as a reply, being honest in fact I doubt that brief could be even be honest in the worlds eyes- even when he thinks he is- nobody else elsewhere in `the rest of the world' thinks he's being anything but the usual yank septic tank asshole... He probably thinks this is a good thing even... |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1283316 Canada 10/05/2012 11:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Nothing to see here: "The bill, which bans hunting for sport but still allows culling and subsistence hunting, was approved late Tuesday by a 41-5 vote." So basically, some rich American jackass doesn't get to go down there and kill a Jaguar for kicks and a "trophy," but people who hunt deer and whatnot to eat will still be able to do so. Sounds fair to me. Conspiracy-tards would have more credibility if reading comprehension were a higher priority than knee-jerk reaction to headlines. |

A long time stable democracy in the Latin world. High literacy rates and more teachers than policemen. They are a peaceful, loving people who value family and friends above material pursuits. You don't have a clue, come to Minnesota or Wisconsin and look at our corn and soybean fields, some of them stretch out of sight, do you suggest we put 12' fences around all these fields? Wait till we start cutting the trees down to make all those corner-posts and mining the ore to make all that wire and fence-posts... duh! |
