Abortion is murder. Outside the box is a scary place. A woman has the option of keeping her legs closed. The baby has no choice. So. the woman ruts like a dog. Knowing she can get preggies when she cannot afford it and lets the baby pay for it. Like it was his fault. If she cannot control herself to be responsible, she needs to get her tubes tied. Babies are not trash to be throw out when they are not wanted. |

Quoting: thecelticcats Some of the teachings didn't seem right, so I was starting to think outside the box as I got older. Well, I felt drawn to Celtic Paganism and read in a book(not sure if it's true or not) that abortion was a woman's right and there was nothing wrong with it. I know the Catholic Religion is full makes people feel guilty about a lot of things! Anybody see what I'm trying to say? Overall, is abortion really bad, if you're doing it for several reasons, such as financial, having mental disabilities, and the father being broke also. I don't want a child to grow up without a dad(he wants nothing to do with it) and also I can barely take care of myself. I don't think the fetus feels anything when it's aborted. I just don't want the child to grow up to hate me for having it. Is that so bad? how about letting the child live and let someone adopt it? Government is a body largely ungoverned. |

Religion aside, what is now known about embryology makes it apparent it is murder and by a painful and henious manner. But people will try to justify anything. If you don't want kids practice birth control or get yourself neutered. And there is no situation made better by adding the murder of an innocent to it. And the LORD spake, saying, "First shalt thou take out the Holy Pin, then shalt thou count to three, no more, no less. Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three. Four shalt thou not count, neither count thou two, excepting that thou then proceed to three. Five is right out. Once the number three, being the third number, be reached, then lobbest thou thy Holy Hand Grenade of Antioch towards thy foe, who being naughty in My sight, shall snuff it. I am an evil giraffe, and I shall eat more leaves from this tree than perhaps I should, so that other giraffes may die. |

Greeks and romans had the custom of leaving children, if nobody else got them they starved to death. Surrival rate for birth was 3 out of ten, abortion could kill mother and child. I will never understand why carrying a child 9 months is such a hardship, till I read the facts. Most abortions are black, black babies are not as valued as white, sadly. BTW, regarding your answer on adoption and the various health and mental conditions of the Dad, you shouldn't be having sex with someone you can't depend on to take care of you or a baby. That is demeaning to you as a woman. It sounds like you have no respect for yourself or him - If that's true you certainly shouldn't be sexing it up... |

I gave my son up for adoption. I was a 15 year old drug user (not while pregnant though!) with a history of addiction and serious health problems in the family. The sperm donor was a 17 year old cokehead with mental issues. They didn't see that when they looked at that baby, they saw a human in need of love. Consider adoption, if only for your own peace of mind. By the way, my son is an honors college student now, destined for great things. Nurture plays a huge role, it's not all nature. |
