Pervasive drug use and promotion 2. Mocks Jesus Christ in his book---"Jesus El Pifico, a garlic-eating, stinking little yellow, greasy fascist bastard catholic Spaniard." (A Spaniard in the Works, p.14). 3. In his 1965 book published by Simon & Schuster, John Lennon blasphemed the Father, Son and Holy Spirit by calling them "Fahter, Sock and Micky Most." 4. The words of their own press officer Derek Taylor: "They’re [the Beatles] completely anti-Christ. I mean, I am anti-Christ as well, but they’re so anti-Christ they shock me which isn’t an easy thing" (Saturday Evening Post, August 8-15, 1964, p. 25). 5. Alister Crowley is featured on the Sgt. Pepper's album with the rest of their "heroes" Just my personal preference. |

While My Guitar Gently Weeps is my fav song again hard to choose. I'm only in my 30s but my parents were fans so I grew up with their music. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 6338183 The Beatles music is timeless, regardless of our age. A band whose music was meant to be loved by generation after generation. "my guitar weeps" is also one of my favorite by George. Growing up with the Beatles music is a good way to grow up! |

But Ringo is a highly under appreciated drummer, he put the beat in the Beatles. Lennon/McCartney best songwriting duo of all time, George one of the best guitarists of all time, of those who are left, Ringo puts on quite a show. Kinda liking Ringo right now, he's a survivor who just seems a little more in it for the fun of rock and roll than Paul. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 31006683 Who do you think will be the last surviving Beatle? Paul or Ringo? |

Quoting: Anonymous Cowherder he was in it solely for the music and left before the boys sold out. that's what you call integrity. (tongue firmly in cheek) Pete Best was sacked for being too good looking. The rest of the band were jealous of all the attention he got from women. John was by far the most jealous. |

They both were great. Quoting: indiandave And together they were the most spontaneous genius dual song writers in history up till now. they could take simple and make it fun. They could take simple and make it complex. They could take complex and make it simple, or they could be completely mysterious. There's something intriguing about that. |

John's song "IMAGINE"- was his own vision of the promise that Bible holds out of a paradise earth- an earth free of false religion, of greed, of hunger...he just didn't know it when he wrote it. but, "IMAGINE"....though, when Jehovah God resurrects him back to life on this earth, he will find his song is a reality. "FOR EVILDOERS THEMSELVES WILL BE CUT OFF, BUT THOSE HOPING IN JEHOVAH ARE THE ONES THAT WILL POSSESS THE EARTH. BUT THE MEEK ONES THEMSELVES WILL POSSESS THE EARTH, AND THEY WILL INDEED FIND THEIR EXQUISITE DELIGH IN THE ABUNDANCE OF PEACE"- Psalms 37:9, 11 |
