Ron Nasty is my favorite. "Piggy In The Middle" changed my life.

I can't choose between George and John. While My Guitar Gently Weeps is my fav song again hard to choose. I'm only in my 30s but my parents were fans so I grew up with their music.

This is just an example of why they were so good. You can almost picture yourself in the room observing what was going on...

Gotta love John for his political activism. But Ringo is a highly under appreciated drummer, he put the beat in the Beatles. Lennon/McCartney best songwriting duo of all time, George one of the best guitarists of all time, of those who are left, Ringo puts on quite a show. Kinda liking Ringo right now, he's a survivor who just seems a little more in it for the fun of rock and roll than Paul.

John wrote most of the hits early on. Later Paul wrote some beautiful music. They both were great.

I find it interesting that on the album cover for "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" you'll find in the top left satanist Alleister Crowley's face.

When you study HOW they made their songs, the "Tricks" they came up with to make them on ONLY a 4 track for most of the songs, THEN you will understand how GREAT they were..

I met Pete Best in 2007. Seems like a nice guy and I enjoyed his band's performance.

I was a huge Beatles fan in my teens and George was always my favorite, but John's Number 9 Dream is one of my favorite haunting melodies. George's sister used to live not far from me.

In that case you would've met my friend Chris who's us/was the lead singer with his band.

I saw Paul in concert in Detroit almost 10 yrs ago. Great showman, a musical genius, but a self indulged control freak who envied the attention Lennon got with his sardonic wit.

Bands are always overrated. It's called "hype." The difference with the Beatles is they unfolded their music writing gradually and formed a huge catalog. Every album had its unique merits, and different beats. They simply kept producing number one hits over and over again. There's more to this than hype alone.

But they did well with that hype, knowing for themselves the "bubble could burst," at any time. Whereas many others were one hit wonders, with inferior songs on the rest of their albums, the Beatles took their overrated aspects and made good. Look at the Billboard history and compare any other band.

They themselves did not think they were necessarily the cat's meow. After all they wrote Sgt. Pepper after hearing the Beach Boys "Pet Sounds." They did not live in a bubble and listened to their contemporaries.

I really can't pick one or eliminate one.

George, I guess, because when they broke up it was his songs that most resonated with me, especially the ones he wrote for Ringo.
