You gotta be kidding me Stage a mass protests ( about million people or more ) TX AL FL LA MS should be able to get that many minimum Stage the protest on the middle of the major intersections ( block the traffic ) that gets attention pretty quick What they do in Europe when protesting ?? people in USA are afraid to get arrested they afraid to loose their job , house , cars etc that's what it is , TPTB got sheeple where they want them with credit BS modern day slavery LOL, look what that got them in Europe....a couple of busted heads, that's all. Did it change anything in Europe? Nope. They still got their taxes raised and their pay cut. Millions protested here about the health care bill. Did that work...nope. Anyway, If everyone in America protested...it would matter not. That hole in the ocean would still be flowing...now wouldn't it?!! Look, its easy to sit at home and pretend to be Guy Fawkes , but nobody wants to go out and do something about it, And yes , civil disobedience works, just ask Indians Look, I'm game for protesting. First, just tell me how protesting is gonna fix the leak? |

They lost the oil pipe approximate 400 feet bellow the seafloor, it came apart from the connections (couplings) that connects the pipes together, now the oil is leaking from the corroding pipes, the extreme presure bypassing the well's walls creating huge tunnel size wells way below the seabed. The damaged underground well is out of reach to be repaired and now they hope with reduced presure it will be easyer to plug the pipe on the top section so it looks fixed. This is a major problem right now for BP, he told me they must cover up the event and keep it a secret. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 981289 United States 05/25/2010 12:34 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | If the solution is not found this Wednesday with this next attempt, there will be an attempt that will plug the hole. Yes, it is taking too long I agree. They will concentrate harder on the solution, and it will be plugged. It is just a pipe in the ground like all other oil wells drilled. Everything is flowing out of the pipe. This pipe does not appear to be any different then any other oil pipe. I would suggest that the heavy drilling mud will slow it down long enough for the cementing of the well to be accomplished. Mistakes have been made by these guys. However, they will plug the well. |
