What because someone else quotes me, it's some kind of "Matrix"? Corexit it making the entire "GULF SPILL" that much more unmanagable. It's forcing the heavy oil (the stuff no one wants to see). to the sea bed and allowing only soap sudsy remnants of oil to appear along the coasts with tar balls. Quoting: RoxiNope, those were the small, fast boats that tried to board and retrieve the 'cargo.' He DID talk about helicopter though ... will look it up wait a sec 6/26/2010 11:48 AM Attack from US helicopter. All sailors bleeding from ear. Thanks for clarifying that! something about that name - Roxi - love it!!! |

This is old and there may be additions to the list to date: Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1026436"U.S. not accepting foreign help on oil spill Posted By Josh Rogin Thursday, May 6, 2010 ....... Then they mentioned Iran's offer of assistance, through its National Iranian Drilling Company. Crowley said there was no Iranian offer of assistance, at least in any official capacity. The reporters kept on it, asking why it was taking so long to figure out what was needed in the first place? That's the Coast Guard's decision, Crowley explained. Late Wednesday evening, the State Department emailed reporters identifying the 13 entities that had offered the U.S. oil spill assistance. They were the governments of Canada, Croatia, France, Germany, Ireland, Mexico, the Netherlands, Norway, Romania, Republic of Korea, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United Nations." [link to thecable.foreignpolicy.com] don't forget Iran...somewhere I read they were the first to offer.. |

Kachina User ID: 897561 Australia 07/05/2010 11:59 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Ok, this is huge. We have discussed biofuels from algae in this thread, and the possibility that the Gulf spill is being used as a giant experiment. We have all wondered why Corexit is being used even though it is banned elsewhere. Well Corexit breaks the oil down, and the result has been layering of oil at all depths. Quoting: SotoZen 1023520Check this out: [link to www.originoil.com] Note the layering system. I am in no way caught up on this thread (left on page 15 or so and now I see it's almost to page 200!) ... Anyway - this post caught my attention. I keep wondering WHY they are using the corexit. Tied in with this thread - it could mean that depths are needed for some kind of reaction/change... but other dispersants could do that job. That leads me to believe that it is some kind of chemical (only found in this dispersant) that is needed to complete some kind of change/reaction. Sorry if I'm not even on the same page. *sticks nose back into thread to catch up* BTW... this thread is better than any novel on the market! |
