My GUESS is that something goes wrong in the GOM that is utterly devastating. This in turn makes for sheer HELL for the current admin.
On one hand, Israel is an ally. On the other hand, their mistake killed a lot of Americans.
There will be people out for blood and wanting revenge and others who play into the "honest mistake" and that if the US strikes Israel, then God will strike us back.

Sheen or no sheen from the eye in the sky, the gunk is among us, do not doubt that! Also Wackenhut security, BP mobile policing units, plus military. Last year we had a beach where we took vacations, went swimming and fishing. Now, it's a hell hole.
