Sorry, I am stuck on this, it just keeps nagging at me. I have a flat world map at my house. If you follow the lines of latitude straight across the map from the GOM you end up just above the Indian Ocean. So taking into consideration that the earth is tilted towards the sun in the Northern Hemisphere during the summer, would the antipodal map change during the winter when the earth is tilted away from the sun in the Northern Hemisphere? Or would it always remain the same? Shouldn't the two areas be at the same latitude?

I understand your fear in these matters, however, there is nothing evil about knowledge, only what you might do with that knowledge, could perhaps be considered evil. There should be no fear in 'knowing' something.

It has never occurred to me that fishing the rivers or the ocean for supper on the table was something that was "free to me" at another's expense. First, it's not free, there is time, some equipment and expertise in knowing how to acquire the food, and to prep and cook it properly.

Commercial fisherman are required to be permitted.

All this harkens back to a novel about Euro-middle ages where men were hanged for taking a rabbit from the "lords forest."

The Gulf, the Caribbean and the Atlantic Ocean do not belong to some &^%(#%@ queen of England or poser queen of Denmark or to the rat-race of corporate fascists which are attempting to control the water we drink and the air we breathe.
