The Constitution is quite clear about this. Life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness is allowed as long as it does not interfere with the same of another.

Total freedom would work if crimes with direct victims (i.e. drug/alcohol related violence) were actually punished.

If the law of the Constitution was followed the corrupt people inside government/law enforcement would not be able to run the drug business.

No one ever asks them why they support a border policy that exploits so many in Mexico and victimizes so many? The mules are paid and bribed to help those who pay them over the border - frequently in unsafe conditions where people die.

My latino brothers and sisters should be the ones shouting LOUDEST for secure borders.

NATO type weapons in Matamoros

Mexican Marines seized a load of 230 grenades of 40 mm. caliber, a weapon also used by NATO forces, and of a destructive power considered as “very high.”

Also seized were 64,950 rounds of ammunition and either 10 or 17 firearms (the reports contradict each other). The exact location of the house where all this was found was not disclosed, and it was only identified as a “safe house” for the “Zetas” criminal group in the city of Matamoros (right across the Rio Grande River from Brownsville, Texas.)

And up that river, in Piedras Negras, Coahuila (across from Eagle Pass, Texas) military personnel seized 202 kilos of weed, 5 long barrel firearms, 2 handguns, 3 hand grenades and 265 rounds of ammo. Also found elsewhere in the same town: 6,434 kilos of marihuana, and empty boxes of grenades and ammunition.

I have several Mexican friends and they are SCREAMING for border control. They understand. They are not stupid.

At some point there needs to be a boundary. If there are no boundaries, then set up the system so that everyone supports everyone on the planet. What a small paycheck that would be.

Weapons like this on the border can't be a good sign of things to come.

I think it will be a running gun battle because not everyone wants to / can afford to leave. Once word gets out that Mex drug gangs are loose north of the border, you will hear alot more gunfire as the narcos find more resistance than they barganed for. BTW central Tx here.

The drug lords weaponry seems to be increasingly powerful...are they part of some kind of master plan? People in north of mexico and south of usa should be prepared.

Yes, and it's only made worse when people who have no clue about the roots of language and the etymology of words start making assertions that are incorrect.

Mexico City (November 5, 2010) .- Antonio Ezequiel Cardenas Guillen, "Tony Tormenta," one of the main leaders of the Gulf Cartel, killed died after more than six hours of clashes with the armed forces in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, the Mexican Navy confirmed.

Along with it, refer naval sources, killed at least 4 of their gunmen.

The Navy reported two dead sailors, while the logs an Army soldier died in the clashes.












For its part, Alejandro Poire, Technical Secretary of National Security Council, confirmed the death of Antonio Ezequiel Cardenas Guillen, "Tony Tormenta."
