Just curious -- did you NOT notice this? The birds tonight are flying NORTH, not South and at Night, not Day! I find this a very curious coincidence, and we all know there is no such thing ;) I guess their compasses are off too, as well as their sense of light?!

Damn !!! I wish I had a dog or Cat to confirm if my compass is callibrated or not .........

ok, not really buying this....but.... if this is affecting gps too, what about all those planes in the air over the US right now? hmm?

Central coast, Ca here it was the bluest I've seen in a long time, no chem trails all day.

Alright....I ran my google earth with point true north. I then cross checcked with a compass app I have on my iPad and it was 6 degrees off. NE Ohio here.

Also...when I flew back to Ohio on Sunday the pilot seemed to be correcting quite a bit. Just a few degrees, like 5 to 10 degrees.

Just checked again...Went outside and faced what I know is North. My compass now reads aboout 45 deg. off. Five minutes ago it was reading almost 180 deg off.

Okay...I have replied to a few posts here on GLP. I havent been here long, maybe two months. I dont post things just to be noticed. But this has really got my spooked. What is going on? I have had this compass for fifteen years, used it on dozens of excursions into the wild. It has never failed me. I got turned around once for a few minutes way out in the woods. But using this compass and a topo map I eas able to find my way out with no problems. I trust that it has always worked correctly. But tonight it is absolutely not reading right. No question. For some reason my trusty compass is acting like it is drunk.

My dog has been going bat crazy tonight!!! He wanted outside, so I let him out and then runs away for a few minutes, then comes back to the door barking, then I go to open the door to let him in and he runs away again. He's been doing this for an hour already tonight, he's never done this before. He's a golden retriever.
