During our conversation she told me that after work she had went shopping. While she was in a clothing store a sales clerk told a woman at the register that they could not accept any debit card transactions. The sales clerk said that the system was down and that it was a "Nation Wide" problem. Another person in the store said that they had been told the same thing at different store earlier. They were able to process bank cards as credit transactions only. The story gets funny now! I had sent my Mom a txt this morning and informed her of the latest CME. So her response to the people there in line was..."Maybe it has something to do with the CME"...or something to that effect. The one woman says.."what is that"?, and another turned looked at her and said..."a flying saucer"? Could not sleep last night and finally git to bed at 2 am. Woke uo at 5:10 to all the clocks in the house (electric) were blinking and computer was down. Had to reboot modum. So the CME did some things here. So cool to know what was happening, thanks to you guys. I love this thread!!!! Edit to say: The clocks were blinking at time of 2:20 am so I assuming that is when the surge from the CME hit here.
