No I am not sure! I am researching a huge rise in the Neutrons..there is a corresponding rise in protons here at the same time.

I already know the ACE dat..solar wind is nada..but the proton density is HIGH! and that is why you are seeing the NICT all lit up..I am going to post ACE data next.

The storm seems to be subsiding. I didn't know we were expecting any earth-directed CME's but that's the most likely explanation? Seems to be the way it goes lately that they arrive when least expected. Data 'normalizing'.

No we did not have a Large CME..This is a componet of Coronal Hole, Multiple CMEs crossing the IMF, and a side swipe of that filament eruption.
