As many of you know...I have very limited knowledge of this subject. I am attempting to learn and am very serious when I say visualizing helps. I highly respect the intelligence in knowledge that is displayed on this thread...so...if I pop off with something elementary...please forgive.

I have been looking at pictures of the solar system...and thinking about the farside eruptions. My understanding is that the Oort Cloud and what Gabe calls "fluffy" is the same thing?? This creates a belt around the system. Psyoptic stated...there has to be something back there that we cant see...that we arent allowed to see....and several of you have also mentioned the same thing....and lots of hypothesis mentioned.

It jogged my memory about something I read quite sometime ago...posted in another forum...about the sofia telescope. My understanding is that it is an infra-red telescope. My understanding is that the help us find brown dwarfs--could it be that?? Gabe also hints alot about a black holes. I searched infra-red telescopes and black holes and found this:

I found the entire thing: things you can only see with infra-red quite intriguing. The idea that there is something out there as big as a planet...that can't be seen... and now we can see them with this scope. Guess we still wouldn't see it on the back side with the scope...

However sofia starts a new mission....if it hasn't already...soon and last through 2013. Sounds alot like the timelines that float around.

where I would like to believe the presence of a black hole could affect solar activity, I can't bring myself to believe it would affect solar activity without deviating the orbits of any celestial bodies in the solar system.

That's just my input, I am also an amateur and drunk to boot :P

Significant breaches of the magnetosphere bringing in oddly dense/high voltage charge combined with relatively rapid shift in poles??

Birds and Humans have been found to have magnetotite (iron) in their cranial cavities (sinuses for humans) I remember reading they are now using human mucous and blood particles in the engineering of comupters, (screens mostly). So I posit, the mucous in our sinuses is downloading the sun's evolutionary programming and we need a thicker coating, hence the rise in people suffering from sinus infections (until about ten years ago, you just got a cold, all of sudden sinus infections were diagnosed everywhere).

Hi Shada, there is one thing I can't get my head around on that thread, maybe yourself or others may know..

In one of the videos, it appears that lighting strikes upwards with the fork of the lightning just going past the arc shape.

I always thought that lightning shoots downwards so how come this shoots upwards?

It might be me, but I have never saw or heard of lightning doing that before...

Agreed, I enjoyed that, now if it had just included a few seconds of the aurora at Yellowknife, it would have been perfect, yeah I know, screw me, LOL
