Morning guys. Haven't been on for a while, busy with work and back treatment several times a week. Its a long road to recovery and still a good possibility I'll need surgery.

Todays session went really well. The massage therapist is a hot, single mom. I get to strip naked for her and we flirt all the time so there's always that bright side to the crippling pain I'm almost always in, lol. Did manage to get her number today :) Things are starting to finally look up for the mang

OK, so the USA can't put up any astronauts or even feed the ones on the ISS anymore; but big rockets we still have. This story is dated TODAY-

VANDENBERG AIR FORCE BASE (CBSLA.com) — The largest rocket ever to be launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base had a succesful lift-off Wednesday.

The Delta IV Heavy rocket was launched with a $1 billion spy satellite for the National Reconnaissance Office (NRO) “in support of national defense,” according to aerospace engineering firm United Launch Alliance (ULA).Once it reaches orbit in about two days, the classified payload is expected to be able to distinguish details back on Earth as minute as the make and model of an automobile.

The Delta IV is a huge rocket though, and the engines are American-made!-

A dynamic Filament erupts from the Western limb following on the heels of today's earlier activity.

this was the first and only successful launch of that rocket since it was shelved after issues and cost concerns...cost is still off the charts and the atlas V is the US's work horse.
we will just have to see moving on.

all that being said it is still Russia, China, and France who run much of the space launches today.
growing up in the 60's this is still very saddening to see NASA no longer at the top of space exploration.

if we could just get everyone to stop wasting time and money building rockets to deliver bombs to kill each other.

Has anyone noticed that in the last few days, the summaries, forecasts and alerts from NOAA/NASA are delayed by as much as a day and even missing at times?

Last few days?? Been going on for several months for me.

I was looking at the rsga.txt file and in the last few days it was missing whole parts of its structure (the forecasts). Today it has info that is 36 hours late... So I was just wondering if they have some issues or something?
