But a statistic had shown doing what you are doing is not the best for you. I mean it wont kill you, just not the best to do. Especially for men :) "Scientific researches have proven that the higher is the scrotal temperature, the higher is the possibility of damaging sperms and affecting the male's fertility. Moreover, with the advent of Bluetooth and infrared connections, where there are wireless links to the internet, more and more men are using laptops on their laps than on a desk. Men usually keep their legs open wider than women to keep their testicles at the right temperature, and for added comfort. However, with a laptop on their laps, they tend to adapt a less comfortable position so that they can balance the laptop on their laps. This leads to an increase in body temperature that is found between the thighs. " Article Source: [link to EzineArticles.com] |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1092312Macbook pro I use wifi I should probably test to see if it happens with the wifi turned off although it probably still emits radiation |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1282536Put it on a table That's what my husband always tells me to do, but I like to sit here with it on my lap. I put it on the arm of the chair. Plus, I've had a hysterectomy so, I don't have ovaries to fry anymore. If you are not surgically sterile, though, it's probably a really bad idea to have it on your lap. Yep, I get hot itchy feeling too from the radiation. Computers are a really bad idea. |

I now put a thin wooden chopping block underneath it,wood does get a bit hot sometimes. oh,well |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1296094the laptop isnt that hot and theres a blanket between it and my legs. Its not because of heat. Cool story though bro Learn it. Love it. Live it. I need to get this thing off my lap . note: it is more intense in my left thigh. strange That's where the computer processor is located, right over your left thigh, and it's radiating your leg with EMF. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1282536 I have it really bad. last semester i had my laptop on my legs usually bare legs for months, after those few first months i can't put my laptop on my legs barely ever. even over a blanket. i have to use a pillow at least. it's the heat and weight together. it's not necessarily all burning feeling. its like a num stinging inside my legs. i hope its not that toasted leg syndrome shit. how does your look? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1092312 I have a Dell and mine gets really hot. But, I don't use the battery (it won't hold but about 15 minutes of charge), so it's always plugged in. I figure that's why it gets hot. You can buy laptop desks - just a big pillow with a solid top - to keep from sitting it directly on your lap. |
Missioninvisible User ID: 2157925 United States 12/13/2011 01:49 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I am EXTREMELY electromagnetic field sensitive. I kill laptops, cell phones, watches, etc. and thats just on a good day. I blistered head to toe after a CT scan last year (no dye used and proper amount of radiation used) and started a research study on radiation and EMFS and how they can have an effect on cellular processes in our bodies... I have a website with many surveys from other people experiencing this same problem plus some (you might notice/pick up on other things that you neevr thought were caused by EMF exposure). Website is missioninvisible.com There are many many links with information about EMFs/DNA and our bodies. :) feel free to e-mail me any questions! |

Here's a blog post I wrote a couple months ago about EMF exposure/solar flares and the bodies response to radiation. Our bodies meridians help to provide the holographic image for our DNA. They emit biophotons and that way cells can communicate from one to the other. Due to serious nutrient depletion and disconnect from the natural changes that the earth is going through, many people are starting to experience pain/heat/vibrating sensations along these meridian lines as they begin to function at a higher energy vibration.
