Scientific evidence? That's a funny phrase isn't it. Those of us on the small surface of the earth have an extroadanarily narrow view of the universe. We are forced to swallow what a select few tell us is the truth. Therefore, none of us really know anything.

Evidence? What evidence can anyone prove other than one government agency regarding anything about what the moon is composed of, how it behaves, or what is on the surface. The rest of us here on earth only rely on what other's tell us as the "truth".

What you employ is to read what someone else publishes and take it on faith as the truth. NASA puts out a paper on what's on the moon, you believe it. Several government funded agency's who rely on this government to keep them in paychecks, tell you it's the truth, and it's the un-deniable truth, who's really gullible here?

Size of moon, distance, it's period of rotation are fairly well-established facts. Earth's radius, gravity and mass similarly.


Yes everyone can see the moon when it comes out, but isn't it odd that every few weeks it disappears? It's almost too convenient that the entire moon turns into darkness just like clockwork and we can't see what's going on. Yet if the sun is in the same part of the sky as the moon, it's still invisible. Sorry the whole theory on moon phases and how they work doesn't make any sense to me.

Actually this is now the most accepted hypothesis, given the Moon's orbit geometry and the low ammount of iron in it's core.
