TB, you might be thinking of another town. Akron is south of cleveland a bit and Younstown is due east of Akron. Youngstown is vrey close to the Penn border, which is why I thought about the the fracking/mining to start with.
Had friends in western penn years ago who talked about all the abdanoned coal mine tunnels and occasional explosions from gas build ups.

The fracking isjust so anti-life. poisons people, fish, wildlife as well as the geological impacts. potential property damage, increase in sicknesses, etc.

People in ohio wanting jobs are going to think environmental effects means the death of some "irrelevant" insect or bird and not understand the real detriment to themselves.

This is being pushed through an Ohio Oil and Gas Fracking Education group. It's nice to be big oil and gas with unlimited resources to lobby for your agenda and misinform the public. People are ripe to be suckered because they need what is necessary to live and it breeds desperation for anything that promises to bring revenue. Oil and gas and investor owned utilities in general have the ideal conditions for taking what they want.

Good morning everyone. I owe an apology to you all. I guess it's been too long since I lived in Ohio and my geography memory is faulty. I was truly thinking Youngstown was closer to Steubenville than it is, but Akron is a really weird place for an eq. Next time I promise not to post when I'm tired and in a little bit of a panic for our family that lives about an hour west of Akron. I couldn't sleep so I thought I'd check in and boy is my face VERY RED. I broke my own rule and posted before I knew what I was talking about. I said there would be some 5+ connected to them signals you pointed out. Your getting there poster. Those are the kinds of anomalies you look for in a precursor signal. The Magnetic disturbance. Good job pointing it out AC.

So those spikes like I posted yesterday are the precursor signals? SO it doesn't necessarily mean that GA was having a quake? IS that sort of what you are looking at when you see/hear the signals?

Forgot to mention, I was outside at about 6:15 this morning to see what the hell my dog was going crazy over when I looked up and saw a shooting star/meteorite streak across the sky. It wasn't one of the orange/green ones that people are reporting but it was cool none the less. I always love seeing those. Just thought I would share. It's a nice thing to see sometimes.
