No your not. You will be fine. Just trust in yourself. Dont be affraid to take what you need. Just dont hurt no one.

Adapt to budget and improvise. Cheap camping set & rice will not cost much, but it will let you survive for at least a while.

Spiritual preparation is the most important thing you can do right now and that is absolutely FREE! Jesus promises to protect His own and those who love Him and He offers free salvation to anyone who "knocks". Seek Him and your needs will be met (maybe not your "wants" but your NEEDS absolutely!)

Just do it little by little. every time you go shopping buy an extra can or two of beans, pasta,rice,etc. Rome wasn't built in day. Just make sure you add a little bit each week.

Decent knife, decent boots, some 550 paracord, waterproofs, linen thread, brass wire, compass, flintsteel... Versatility is the main thing.

No ur not screwed, ull just hook up with someone like me who has enough to take care of an army:)

When I was super poor...In order to get items I really needed I would skip non essential bills for one month...and then make them up by paying more every month until I caught up...sux I know...but that's how I did it.

There are some things that you can purchase that will go a long way in helping you survive for the first few weeks after a major disaster. Buy some water (it's not that expensive), buy some canned goods that last years and put them in a safe place.

I'm in the same boat. I don't have a lot of extra money laying around either. That's why I pick up a couple of essentials every time I get paid. Like water purification tablets and canned goods.

For me, it's all about surviving the first few weeks and coming up with a long term plan once I know what the situation requires.

I don't want to looting a grocery store and have someone shoot me because I'm carrying out the last case of bottled water or get my ass kicked by a group of thugs who're taking everything they can get in the chaos.
