We have a pit also, and she's really sweet. Last year we got chickens and she watched as the rooster climbed onboard a hen and did his thing.

That got her interested and not understanding what the rooster was after, she wound up placing her front paw on one of the hens and pulling out a number of feathers. After getting a dressing-down from her mama and papa, she's now into protecting the hens.

Last week she heard the senior hen clucking loudly and raced outside and chased off a coyote (and it wasn't even dinner time, so still light outside).

teheheeee, at 1:18 kitty does the "sideways bounce",... got to love that... left the dog wondering? ^^
