Guard duty can be exhilarating or down right boring. When I've pulled guard duty I've kept my eyes peeled looking at every turned over rock...made things interesting and made me ever mindful.

Yep. It would be interesting to see how many of these things are being ordered by the DHS. I could just imagine that these things will be on every corner if martial law were declared.

All they need to do to make this a RL SENTRY TOWER!

* Bigger box

*Soldiers/police with auto. weapons.

I might agree with you if it wasn't the Fed behind it. What interest should the federal government have in your store parking lot? Now, if it was the local police or the walmart security team behind it, that would be different. But the fed????

Do you think rioters care if they are breaking the law? They are rioting, they don't care. There is no doubt that police could have guns in that tower, but how is that any different than snipers sitting on the roof tops or a hunter in tree stand. Give me a fucking break, get your head out of the "they all are after us" clouds. It's technology, it makes sense, they use it.

I bet you think roadside radar signs could have sentry turrets mounted on them too....

The difference is they will shoot people. People who try to bring down the tower.

Play Home Front or Watch the Home Front game footage video (minute 00:43) then say its no big deal




Now imagine it's people shooting. Now do you care if it's in your store's lot?!
