Then again, when Denver's radiation levels hit 127 CPM this Summer we suspected Japan's fallout... Course, we've now reason to believe the Denver underground tunnels were destroyed via nuke the same time CPM levels shot up over Denver. |
Sleeping Giant (OP) User ID: 4598688 United States 11/11/2011 10:08 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Here is more, from a different source... "The IAEA is working with its counterparts to determine the cause and origin of the iodine-131." Iodine-131 is a short-lived radioisotope that has a radioactive decay half-life of about eight days, the IAEA said. "The IAEA will provide further information via its website as it becomes available," the agency said. In the world's worst nuclear accident since Chernobyl in 1986, a huge earthquake followed by a massive tsunami overwhelmed the Fukushima plant in Japan, causing a reactor meltdown and leakage of radiation, including of iodine. In the days and weeks after the accident, minuscule numbers of iodine-131 believed to have come from Fukushima were detected as far away as Iceland and other pars of Europe, as well as in the United States. Anonymous Coward User ID: 4915531 United Kingdom 11/11/2011 10:13 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The U.N. nuclear agency is reporting "very low" — but higher than usual — levels of radiation in the Czech Republic and elsewhere in Europe. Quoting: Sleeping Giant The International Atomic Energy Agency says the "very low levels of iodine-131 have been measured in the atmosphere over the Czech Republic" and elsewhere on the continent. IAEA says the cause is not known, but it is not the result of Japan's Fukushima Daiichi nuclear disaster, which spread radiation across the globe in March. [link to news.yahoo.com] OH REALLY ? When there's this? On-site measurements at the west gate of the Fukushima Daiichi plant indicate the presence of I-131 and Cs-137 in the air in the close vicinity of the plant (within approximately 1 km). The concentrations in air reported for 29 May were about 3 Bq/m3 for I-131 and about 9 Bq/m3 for Cs-137. The values observed in the previous days show daily fluctuations with an overall decreasing tendency. [link to www.iaea.org] Don't they read their own reports? |

Of course, we are deliberately not monitoring this stuff well - for unclear reasons. There is another radiation source that's doing the I-131 thing, and we'd better find it. Meanwhile, supplementing with aged supplements will keep the thyroid from absorbing the radioactive stuff. There's more to the world nuclear situation than we're currently aware of. Maybe another leaking nuke, or a test...... |

The security of Armenia say that Friday. Radioactive strontium is a product of nuclear testing. It affects bones, because it replaces calcium in the bones...
