Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
I am saved because Jesus came to me in a dream at age 18:

Knock on door, I answer and a "monk" is standing there. He removes his hood and it's Jesus looking like the typical catholic picture in my family home.

I invite him in giving him my mom's chair (Best chair in our house). He says he is here to call me one last time and today I have to choose. Two doors appear. He explains, "one door leads to eternity with me and one door leads to eternal separation from me".

I choose the with me door and dream ends.

I had heard the gospel three times and asked Jesus into my life but this dream right after the third time sealed the deal it has been 39 years.

Yes, I think I did. I'll never forget it. He emerged from the right side of me, and all i saw was the glittering of a robe and heard a voice which sounded like the rushing of waters with an electronic thundering voice I was unable to decipher. I couldn't see a face. The robe nearly touched the ground, and it was sparkling as a crystal would in the light.

In regards to my testimony, what He looks like doesn't matter. It's who He IS and what He came to do that matters. This was the message told to me when I questioned what He looked like concerning the "physical" senses. He was God in flesh, the sacrificial lamb for our sins. He can take on any physical form, but what's important is the act that He did for us, who were undeserving of His grace. "While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."

"Blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed." (John 20:29)

But remember this, even dreams that one claims to see Jesus could very well be a demonic induced vivid dream:

"And no wonder! For Satan himself transforms himself into an angel of light." (2 Cor 11:14)

Examine back at what you witness in a dream. People who've opened themselves up to be allow the enemy to come in are most vulnerable while sleeping. Nightmares are a common form of demonic attack.

Saw some praying hands(LARGE ONES) over me in the early '80's and had a vision of Heaven and Hell once. Had the straight and narrow, Book of Life(saw my name!!) and other things. Freaked me out of Christianity for awhile! Thank God I prodigaled!(if that's a word)

yes.

for all the spiritual saviors that have walked upon the Earth, valid as some of their messages may have been, and even sweeping entire populations into their worship (Mohammad, Buddha, etc.), Jesus was the ONLY one offered up as a blood sacrifice. That is the core of the Christian faith.

so awesome what He did for us.

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
About nine months ago...all I could remember was like a five-second snippet of Him (at least it seemed like Jesus) sort of gliding across the grassy park at my elementary school in glowing, white robes (I was grown up in the dream). I just remember being terrified and unable to move the whole time; suffice to say, it wasn't a reassuring dream. Then the other night I had a dream that I was sucked up into the sky extremely quickly, frightening for the first few seconds but sort of a calming acceptance at the end. I am not completely sold on the Rapture, but that was my first impression when I woke up. Both sequences almost seemed like commercials for my main dreams, short and interrupting the flow of the "regular" dream I was having. Weird and not normal for me, but I haven't really read much into them except that I still have a lot to learn in regards to the execution of my faith.

Awesome? No...Very, very disturbing, really. Christians are so insanely obsessed with dark topics such as blood sacrifices, a bloodthirsty & brutal deity, judgment, damnation, gore and suffering...Don't you ever ask yourself why that is?

More importantly...Don't you ever consider stopping for a moment, and rationally thinking about your beliefs in a somewhat logical, analytical manner?

If you were to do so, I would think you would finally wake up and come to realize what it is that you are really worshipping...

(Here's a hint: It ISN'T "God", or any entity that truly is omnipotent and all-loving.)

Seriously...do you want to take the proverbial "blue pill" and remain blissfully & willfully ignorant in your grand delusions, or do you want to take the "red pill" and actually begin to seek the true nature of reality?

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
I've had several dreams about Jesus that I can still remember clearly to this day. Here's one:

I was walking through a desert and off in the distance I could see a fort. The fort was made out of tall logs like you would see in the old movies. By the time I reached the fort I was hot and very thirsty.

There were two big doors, I reached and pulled one open slightly to slip inside. When I was inside, to my amazement, there was a big pool of water and that's all. You would think that being hot and thirsty I would go jump in, but I didn't. I walked to the right of me, to the far edge of the pool, and sat down by the water's edge. It seemed that just sitting by it refreshed me. My thirst was gone and I was cooler.

I sat there for what seemed like a few minutes, then my eyes were drawn to the gates of the fort. One door was opening and a man walked inside. He was dressed in a drab white cloth and he appeared to have been walking for a long time. He walked over to me and sat down. He looked very tired, and not saying anything, he laid his head in my lap and slept. While he was resting, I was flooded with an overwhelming sense of "peace" and "tranquility."

I'm not sure if he rested for several minutes, but it seemed close to a half hour. When he awoke, not saying anything, he got up and started walking toward the gate like he was leaving. I noticed immediately that the peaceful feeling that I had was leaving with him.

I jumped up and ran after him, yelling, "Don't leave me, don't leave me!" When I reached him, he quickly turned and put his hands on my shoulders and looked right in my eyes and said, 'Don't you know I will never leave you?"

His eyes are the hardest to describe. The best way I could possibly describe them is to say, they were like "deep pools of pure love."

After he said that, he turned and walked out of the gates."

I immediately woke up in a flood of tears. I realized that the man was Jesus.

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
Not to derail but must elaborate on Hell. It was Not Hollywood lake of fire...much worse...individualistic. I could look 360 degrees, but no body. All I could see were multiple diamond shapes(decreasing in size),that pulsated. The colors were orange and red and variations thereof..
pulsating. Yes, there WAS heat. Heat of a burning. Waves after wave of heat from where it came I could not see, only feel and dread. If I had flesh, surely I would have rent it from my bones! And the sound! Deep, low, incessant, indescribable yet unforgettable. Never-ending. I felt fear as I had never felt it before. After which I asked if I could see Heaven. The path to which to get to, while straight, narrow, and lit,was surrounded, in my periphery, by some of the most evil, heinous, images I have never seen! One look away, and the path was gone. Nothing but you and the darkness. I saw the Book of Life, my name, and the year 2032. I was told yes, I could enter the gates!...but that I could not return. Shortly thereafter I awoke. That was twenty years ago. I remember it like it was last night.
God bless.

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
I did in 2009. It was a message basically about our circumstances. I have to explain first that I had messages from someone else from Jesus in 2005 that it appeared the rapture was at hand, any moment. I caused me to let go of my financial situation and not monitor it as I would have otherwise. It was done purposely to send me into the wilderness. When I realized it wasn't the end we were lead to live extremely frugally, often having to depend on others. It was very hard. We had a small ministry. It went on for about three years and I found it to be the most rewarding thing I had ever done. Then circumstances ended that and i was told to get a job and I did. I did not make enough money to support my family and we had to bunk up with people that were usually horrible. I became very depressed. then I had that dream. I was sitting in an SUV at the back. There were other people sitting in front of me. I was looking out the window. I saw we were parked on a dirt road at the top of a mountain. I saw clouds all around. There was a small town straight ahead, like storefront businesses. I was looking at one cloud in particular, a funny looking cloud that I have heard new agers say are "cloudships" and thinking how dumb newagers are and just then a small helicopter broke through the cloud. It was a funny cartoonlike one-seater with puffs of black smoke coming out the back. I watched it disappear behind a mountaintop. Then I looked toward the little town and I saw Jesus come walking out from between the buildings. I understood that he came out from the helicopter which would have been impossible except for God because it was too fast. I actually don't think Jesus looks the way I saw him. He was wearing a long white robe, sandals, had long black hair parted down the middle, very straight and was wearing big black sunglasses, like a moviestar. He had a big jewish nose. He quickly walked up to the vehicle, jumped onto the hood, laid back and put his hands behind his head like he was relaxing there. I woke up. I woke up mad because I knew what it meant. I knew the vehicle represented my ministry and that it was not going anywhere just yet. The end of my wilderness wasnt yet. I told him after so long and hard of time that vehicle at least should have been starting up, something should be starting. Things have gradually improved, we no longer bunk up, have a bit more money, but still very frugal. God told me my trial is longer than most because we will have big shoes to fill when things get going again. I believe there is restoration for Christians who watch and wait, like it was when the jewish people took all the gold and left egypt. there was not one sick among them. and so it will be for us, not poor, not sick. I believe we will get back things lost in the fall of man, things that we have forgotten are part of our inheritance. I believe it is very very soon and will be ushered in by a fantastic storm possibly this month or next month. Then I believe there will be a space of time, maybe three years Im guessing before the end of the age, maybe more, not sure about that. I know many christians believe the rapture is any second and Im all for it but I don't believe it is just yet. As things get worse and worse for the world, you will see them get better for christians. Lets watch and see.

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
On Monday the 11th of April 2011, as I lay my head to sleep, I saw an image appear before my eyes that lasted for about 10 seconds. The image was of darkness and in the centre of the darkness was the outline of a door way that was highlighted by a bright white light. In the centre of the doorway was the figure of a man…I immediately knew this to be Jesus. However the figure of the man was totally blackened out and His arm was stretched out towards the half opened door and was ready to fully close the door.

Then a voice spoke and said, “The Lord is closing the door on salvation”.

This greatly troubled me and I began to implore of God the meaning of this vision.

I was troubled because the image of the man that I knew to be Jesus was blackened. How could this be if Jesus is light? I sought after God to discover why Jesus was blackened out. After several minutes and at the point where I quietened my mind, a voice spoke saying, “Absence”, “Where Jesus is not found, darkness takes over”.

I then lunged for my Bible and began to find scripture to support this strange vision and interpretation, here is what I found….

Jeremiah 8:20 “The harvest is past, The summer is ended, And we are not saved!”

Isaiah 55:6… Seek the Lord while He may be found, Call upon Him while He is near.

So there will come a time when Jesus is no longer found!

This troubled me even more until God reminded me of Jesus’ words in Mathew 28:20 ……..”and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.”

Now I could see that those who have the indwelling of Jesus will commune with Him even up to the end of the age…but those who do not have communion with Jesus will no longer be able to find Him after he closes the door on salvation!

I believe there is very little time left to be saved….repent and invite Jesus as your Saviour while He still can be found. According to my vision… “The Lord is closing the door on salvation”.

Just as it was in the days of Noah, God closed the door on the Ark. He is now also closing the Salvation door on this age and generation.

(Edit Friday 15th April 2011) I just did a search to see if any one else was speaking this message on the web and I found this, please take the time to watch it.

Some Christians might be obsessed with such things, but not a great many. And true, there are certainly sects of people with questionable viewpoints and irrational emphasizing of certain beliefs even in my own family's local Baptist church. But the positive souls far outnumber the negative souls, even if the negative forces sometimes conquer the message and day-to-day operations of certain churches and Bible-based issues. We'll try harder to emphasize the love. I like that all I have to do is love people to fulfill the Law, even if that is sometimes extremely hard to do.

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
To All, Death, what seems to be unfair is just your finite understanding of the infinite. The one known to you as Jesus told us to seek the truth and the truth will set you free,by seeking you earn salvation. Here are some truths I have found by my seeking. Will which is the ability to choose to do a thing is the most important force in the Universe of Universes. When The First Source and center,The Father,The Thought and The Second Source and center,The Son,The Word have an individual collaboration and actualization of WILL,There Freewill,a co-creative creation comes into being. Will alone creates Spirit Sons, Paradise Creator Sons of the order of Michael, our Local Universe Son is Michael of Nebadon who Incarnated as Esu Immanuel known to most as Jesus. In order allow us to use our soul/mind (HUE MAN =LIGHT MAN)being to overcome the adversary, which is our ego entity of material self-hood,and achieve a Spiritual birthing without the benefit of physical evidence. This being able to have the wholehearted faith and trust of "a little child"in your unseen Spiritual Father.Until AT ONE MENT of Will of the ascending HUE MAN the soul is a seed that needs to be planted in the soil of desire to know your Heavenly Father, when the individual's soul/mind overcomes ego of self and attains AT ONE MENT of WILL and becomes one with the indwelling Father Fragment that being realizes its IMMORTALITY.Esu Immanuel(JESUS) left nothing behind of Himself to allow us the privilege of becoming "AGONDONTERS"( ones who can attain without proof of seeing),to be an agondonter is a most cherished and wonderful achievement!Esu Immanul(JESUS)left nothing behind (no writings,no art,no relic of any kind)for another reason,He did not want there to be anything left to start a religion or cult around His Person rather than His teachings. Saul of Tarsus A.K.A. Paul a pharisee composed the new testament ( hijacking the early followers of Esu's teachings)and turned the movement right back into the blood cult of the HEBREW RABBIS using the MURDERED Esu Immanuel(JESUS)as the SACRIFICE! I do however now have proof!I know by personal experience that paragraph 4 on page 1229 of "THE URANTIA BOOK" is the absolute, undeniable TRUTH and if that is TRUTH then the whole book is the TRUTH! Here is what I experienced. On June 28,1984 while working in my small plant nursery pulling weeds,I was attacked by a swarm of very tiny mosquitoes. They were the size of gnats and did not cause itchy bites,so I kept working.Went to bed and woke up the next morning so sick I could not move I was immobilized.I did not leave my bed for seven days and nights, did not eat or drink or go to toilet.Fever so bad covers on one minute off the next for seven days. Then on July 5, 1984 a few minutes before midnight I mustered up enough strength to get to the bathroom and take my temperature.I saw myself in mirror for first time in a week.I looked like DEATH WARMED OVER!My temperature was 104.5,I looked in the mirror then I looked at the thermometer then back in the mirror and then realized I was close to death.I said to myself well I guess this is it I am heading into the UNKNOWN!I laughed at the face of death!I got back into bed and thought what if my next breath is my last.It was, I had this thought, this prayer if you will that It is my WILL that THY WILL be done MY FATHER(a positive affirmation of WILL)^This is the "AT ONE MENT OF WILL wholehearted faith and trust in the unseen, the trust of a little child. At this moment time stood still,I turned to my right and said to my wife Laurie I am dieing I love you good bye.I then turned to my left and saw my clock tick to midnight,at this moment of non-time I felt myself vacate my body,it started at the tips of my toes and whooshed up my body when it reached my heart and brain I departed through the top of my head. Now all matter has faded away and I find myself as a little tiny light all alone in the darkness until I saw coming up from my right and from what seemed to be BELOW another light and it approached me and came to my side. I looked up and I saw another light a much much more brilliant and powerful light being on the other side of the portal,I knew that was my CREATOR FATHER and as I tried to reach for His helping hand the other being of light put up this barrier between us it was everything I ever did that hurt someone my sins if you will.I looked and saw my CREATOR FATHER still reaching for me even with all the error and s.i.n.(stuck in negativity)I committed.I turned to the being who came up from below and said be gone I go with my Heavenly Father and with that the EVIL PRINCE OF DARKNESS departed back to the pit of DARKNESS he left screaming in defeat ! I then took part in a seven hour debate with my CREATOR over going directly to heaven with Him. He said what of your wife and children,I said they will be all right because they have You.He said what of your business and all your projects and art,I said they mean nothing now that I am in your presence. Then My CREATOR said because you were able to have the faith and trust of a little child and achieve AT ONE MENT OF WILL and give birth to your seed soul I want you to go back into the Firmament back to the density of matter and tell them ALL,so I had to relent. It was His plan that I come back and tell you all!I awoke with my head still looking at the clock as it turned to seven. The Creator Son,Paradise Son The MICHAEL OF NEBADON and His bestowal personification in incarnation ESU IMMANUEL are REAL and always here for all who so choose of your own FREEWILL!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fear is the opposite of Faith HAVE NO FEAR LEARN THE TRUTH BY SEEKING AND HELP YOUR FELLOWS BY PASSING IT ON FREELY [link to www.urantia.org] THE BODY NEITHER LIVES NOR DIES THE SOUL/MIND HUE MAN LIGHT MAN LIVES AND IS IMMORTAL,THE LIGHT BODY OF THE DENSITY SIMULATES LIFE!!! the white rose

I would only like to preach the light. However,if you only talk of the day, what happens when the night comes? You are called a fool! "Why did not you tell us" they will say. I will tell you the day and the night. It is up to you to decide how you shall live and how ye shall die. That is the unpleasantry of free-will. There is NO fall back. No mom, no dad, no government subsidy to save you. There is your pride, there is your fall. Repent! Ask His forgiveness, and He WILL save you! You cannot blame Bush(sorry), or global warming on this. This is all YOU. If your scared, say your scared. Who cares! It is better to fear(to stand in awe) of God, than to spend an eternity without.
God bless.

dear one, your concerns are very valid.. Christianity is a hard faith to master... Christians should strive for greater understanding of ones such as yourself... your dear concerns to a true Christian's heart are very painful and valid...

what you must understand is that Christianity is steeped in blood and mayhem.. we believe He came to Earth fully knowing that he would be butchered on the cross as a common criminal, though he never harmed any being..

do you see?

We hear you... we hear your shock and revulsion and horror at our references to blood and death... but that is the core of Christianity,..we feel it too... every time we think of such a beautiful man being slaughtered on behalf of us.

I think Christians should strive for greater understanding of those who don't accept our faith... truly, Christianity is a hard-core faith... there are always going to be those Christians that misrepresent our message simply because they are in awe of what He gave for us.

True Christianity is a hard-core thing.. an acceptance of the deep sadism, bloodshed, and horror that human beings gladly bring upon themselves as well as a being as pure as Christ, who only incarnated in order to shine a light into the darkness.

He was cut apart like he was a common farm animal, and yet we believe he was the one most deserving of worship. It pains our hearts. It hurts us.

Much love to you.

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
Dreams are not needed to communicate with Jesus or anyone else.
There is a form of prayer that can be used to bring you to an elevated state of consciousness.

Here is a little more information

The day the soldiers stop bringing you their problems is the day you stopped leading them.
They have either lost confidence that you can help them or concluded that you do not care.
Either case is a failure of leadership.

I've heard him in a dream.. But have never seen him. At least, not that I can remember.

If everyone saw him, I think it would defeat the purpose of faith. We should have strong faith for many reasons.

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
I haven't seen Jesus in a dream, but I have received dreams from him. The last dream I received from him was when I fell into a period of lukewarmness for about a year and a half. He called me back to follow him, repent, and get back on track. He referred to himself as the "three eternal nows" in the dream. That's another way of saying God as the Holy Trinity. You know when you have a dream from God because it shocks you to the core; it leaves you waking up with this feeling of awe.

Faith means trusting him, not just knowing he exists. Even though many are converted through personal revelation, we still have our human weaknesses, we still doubt, we still fail to carry out his will by sinning. Trust in God despite many "unknowns" is true faith.

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
About 7 years ago, I had this dream, which I posted once before: ( it was not long after I had found a new Episcopalian church)

I was standing on a small arched stone bridge, over water, on some college campus in maybe Canada, with a young man who was like a nephew to me.He was about 19 or 20, a student there, neatly dressed, tidy beard and mustache, light brown hair.

We were like old friends, and he was happy to see me and tell me about his life. He said: "I just love this place and all my fraternity brothers at Alpha Omega."

Then I was interrupted and pulled away to a group of elders. They told me that I had to tell him he was Jesus Christ. I was pretty uncooperative. "Jesus Christ? Like, The Jesus Christ? Anyway, why do I have to tell him? Why me?"

And they said "Because he will believe you."

So I'm back on the bridge, with my friend, and I'm worried about how it will go. I say "You know those books we like to read, the spiritual biographies? Well here's an odd thing; it turns out that you are Jesus Christ." I was worried he would freak out.

He took it very mildly. Sort of an "oh okay then" response, smiled and nodded, and we both kept looking down at the water and everything felt okay. End of dream.
"Aside from the small band of Forteans scattered around the world, nobody seems to notice all aspects of this phantasmagoria."

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
In a dream I had about a year ago, He was with me. He held my hand and we walked together while he taught me how to battle demons that were harassing me, and He helped me fight them.

I still remember His hand and His feet in my dream, but I have no memory of His face. I don't think I saw His face in the dream, just His hands and feet, atleast that's all I remember. He wore sandals.

I am a Christian... don't you think it's interesting how He doesn't show up that much?

why do you think that is?

I've always found that kind of strange. seriously.

If it does, RUN...really.

ohyeah

And just because it shows up doesn't mean anything. Demons harass people on a regular basis, and some others are "visited" too often to their liking. So if you're a Christian and you've been "visited", you've gotten the attention of the Nephilim (demons), and that's not the kind of attention you want to attract.

Re: any Christians ever seen Jesus in a dream?
So many strange things we dream about every night. I have seen Satan countless times in dreams, I stab him but he will never die. It is mysterious that God, who many of us spend so much time thinking of, rarely or never show up in dreams. My mother had a dream where she was embraced by Christ.

I had a dream about a man who had the power to bring all things into existence, including me, but he hid his face and was lonely and sad.
