Anonymous Coward User ID: 6770361 Brazil 12/08/2011 10:16 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Nothing is going to happen to the Euro. The only way that the Euro could die is if any of the Eurozone countries doesn't repay debt bonds that are maturing. Technically, that would be a "default". But that's not going to happen. Without default, there is no possible "death of the euro". Accept the fact: everything is going to be EXTREMELY O.K. AND NORMAL. Doom is going to FAIL, as it ALWAYS happens. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 6769662 Canada 12/08/2011 10:24 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Monday could be a very bad day or a really good day. Most investers see all this as quick money making time. People are making boatloads of money out of all this market BS.\ The elites or just very rich people are securing themselves this deck of card will not fall like we think but by the way they want it to.\ Think for a minute, to rebuild somthing you first most tear it down. when it all comes down it will be bad but not that bad. Reorganized and rebuilt by the rich who in turn will make even more money than before. I wall always a sceptic about the NWO theory but now the writing is plane as day. Many countries including the US with be rebuilt more like a coperation streamlined no Politics fumbling around. Board of directors and we will be the labour force. think though it might not be that bad sure the rich get richer but at least shit might get done. Money wont be wasted. It is easy to see what they want but a monkey wrench could come from anywhere and throw this operation a curve ball. Two outcomes: NWO hostile takeover style no fighting or WW3 and after the NWO pickup the peices. |

So I see no possibility in accepting these new rules Germany-Italy-France are proposing. I hope our PM has guts to say that we are off then.. (and like the big 3 would be missing us:D) |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 1315838 United States 12/08/2011 11:11 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | OK here's a prediction (seeing as GLP is so fond of predictions). Quoting: Anonymous Coward 5952463 The Euro will not fail. It won't be allowed to fail. All this trouble is just the means of bringing us all together. When disaster stares us in the face, when we are on the brink, we in the UK will be told that closer union is our only salvation - but our sovereign rights will be safeguarded - bla blah blah. This is like one of those novels where you know the ending before you got through the first chapter... It won't be allowed to fail because the U.S. will bail it out.............why ? Because we have the worlds reserve currency and we will not give this status up..... because "if we do - it's over" After all, it is the "only" thing giving the dollar it's strength (reserve/petrodollar status) |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 1480651 hmmm but EU laws are binding for every country in EU zone.Isn't it? Will this be the first EU case of what we call here in America "State's Rights" ? Dunno what "State's Right's" mean, but breaking constitution would be political suicide and I think there are few to do that. So I see no possibility in accepting these new rules Germany-Italy-France are proposing. I hope our PM has guts to say that we are off then.. (and like the big 3 would be missing us:D) State's Rights is basically a part of the Tenth amendment to the US Constitution that limits the powers of the Federal Government. "The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people." The TSA crap is a grand example of State's Rights. According to the US Constitution we are protected from "unreasonable search and seizure...". This same right is echoed in all 50 constitutions of the states that make up the US. When the Patriot Act nullified this Federal Constitutional right, it also nullified it at the state and local levels of government putting the entire free populace of the governed under the iron fist of Federalism which the tenth amendment specifically protests. Several states attempted to pass state legislation that abolished TSA's "right" to "unlawful search" with the most famous of those cases being that of the Republic of Texas. Our legislation spelled out the over-reach of federal government into the Constitutional affairs of the state by pointing out that TSA's searches were not only in direct conflict with the US Constitution, but that the rights of Texans to be protected from such illegal searches, granted them by their state constitution, were also being ignored. This was a case of State's Rights; the right of the state to protect her people from Federal governmental over-reach. We lost. If Finland is successful and sticks to her sovereign Constitution, then as an EU "State", she will have won the first EU case of State's rights. Last Edited by Khim on 12/08/2011 11:50 AM |
