FIRST HAND KNOWLEDGE - EU Contagion will CAUSE collapse HERE within TWO WEEKS..

The whole world is on the edge of collapse. When Europe crashes the world will go with it. I thought it was imminent, within a few months, but Europe figured out how to get around their banking rules and is monetizing their debt just like the FED is doing in the US. It will not solve the problem, it just holds off the inevitable for a little longer. These things are hard to put time lines on, but I'm betting the end of 2012. When it occurs it will go fast and everyone needs to prepare now to survive. Food, guns and ammo are the three keys to getting past the initial shock. After the first year, long term survival skills will be needed to survive.

The stock market is false as is much of the government data. Its much worse than we are being told. I know lots of people and groups forming for mutual protection.

This seal was broken in fall of 2008. It is a judgement of hyperflation which makes high food prices. The Euro will not collapse, OK. They are just going to keep on printing money which will fulfill the above prophecy.

Please people, a snake does not willingly bite its own tail. Don't listen to all the rumors and false prophets out there. The TPTB does not want a collapse, so they will keep printing money like they have been doing since the fall of 2008.

I had a friend say he was headed back to his home town where his family is from if things go to hell. He made a point to me that if he did not know me, he would shoot before finding out my views. I am troubled that this is a common theme among many of us.

What is going to be the way we can prevent this and instead form larger groups of like-minded people before or during an event like this.

I have thought of starting a political party not so much to win elections but rather to stop this problem that he related to me. Is a party the wrong way to go? It may be too late to even begin a party before collapse. This is especially true if my friend(original post) is adamant about moving quickly when I see him.

Still, there has to be a way for us to not shoot the wrong people thinking we are defending ourselves from "Road Warrior" gangs.

Its a trick... the Dems will make it hold on as long as possible so that when a Repub wins the election & takes office, the collapse that will follow shortly thereafter can be blamed wholeheartedly on "Look what the republicans did to our country"! Except it will be far too late, and there will be no rescuing us from that collapse. We will have to hit bottom first. And the higher the inflation balloon goes, the further down we have to fall before we can rebound.

And for the record, I am a registered Independent voter. I think both parties are crooks.

Our two headed one party system gives us an illusion of choice for sure. It's purpose is give the people hope that they can change the political direction of the country, which they cannnot. Little victories here and there support this illusion and keep the people from full blown revolution before they are ready to deal with civil unrest. (repealing the assault weapons ban is a good example i believe) However in the long run they don't wanna take any responsibility for the collapse. I feel it will either be war with Iran/Syria or the fall of the euro that they will blame. Like wise europe will blame us to their citizens for starting it in 2008, or we'll all blame Iran/Syria.

Now looking at the laws that have been passed, and the executive orders over the last 20 years or so it's not hard to see that controling the population is the goal. What has been passed in just the last couple of months alone, not to mention the KBR document and COG document certainly suggests we very close to the endgame. The dominoes could certainly start to fall within days or weeks as I believe they are about as ready as they can be without totally tipping their hat. Just my humble opinion.

Here is the latest. We arrived at my friend's house. Three of his "friends" from the service showed up right after we did, within minutes. One guy was huge. They seemed to know each other although I had never seen nor met any of them. He is stationed in another state, too.

Bottom line, he only spoke to me when we walked out to the car to say goodbye. He showed me on his smartphone the filter he had bought. He said it is similar to ones that they issue in certain situations in the Army.

His wife told us that we needed to have identical maps that were marked with where we would go in case of collapse.

It was all played off as more of a problem is coming but by no means is it urgent. Something changed between the time I spoke to his wife and I spoke to him.

Of course, I like anything that makes me feel that the end is further away, but what bothered me about tonight was when I asked him what he was hearing where he is stationed, he sort of mumbled nothing and blew me off. In other words, he avoided the question, completely. As you all know, it was the talk from other soldiers that was driving this whole thing.

I asked him if the Army would ever be in the streets, and he confirmed that Martial Law would have to be declared, first.

I am hoping that the collapse will be a grinding one over the next few years, but after speaking to him directly, I felt like I gained absolutely no clarity on the situation as far as finding out if our military is preparing for something.

I am left with a friend who was doing nothing toward survival and had never mentioned it once to suddenly doing a 180 and preparing, suddenly. All the while he will cite no direct source for his reasoning, but his wife did tell me.

Bottom line, I think his wife said more than she was suppose to say to me. I would imagine a member of the military could get in big trouble if he or she was found to be the source of a leak. Although, he does not know "classified" information, I am sure that it would not be hard to trace where and how information gets out. Also, all three of his "friends" were large, somewhat menacing looking guys, and I have been to all of their parties in the last few years. My wife and I have never seen these guys. This doesn't prove anything, but it is odd to say the least.

I am left in the same spot as all of you, once again, I do not know. I do believe what a few people have said on this thread, and that is that the collapse is inevitable. It is just nailing down the time to avoid the jolting surprise that seems to continue to elude us.

I am sorry, but I will keep digging and see if anything more definite arises.

Don't dig too much - in fact give it a rest so you don't alienate him altogether. Props for giving us as much as you have though.

What I find a common theme in these types of threads is that the military will not inform the public of anything they are ordered not to. Supposedly, they will fight to the death for our freedoms but leave us high and dry in a known calamity,...no matter the calamity.

Tax payer dollars pay for very little when it comes to military secrecy.

I do not blame the common soldier trying to protect their own, but I do blame the gutless sources for their orders to deny and deceive.
