Quoting: The Extinction ProtocolThe Extinction Protocol does seem to have a serious problem with facts. They can never keep them straight. I wonder if it's confirmation bias, or just plain ol' lying. Will most likely be destroyed != Sure death. The survival of Lovejoy 3 was never considered an impossibility. That's journalist talk, f 'em. Actual scientists enjoy being surprised. It means there is something new to try to figure out. Reaching for the sky makes you taller. Hi! My name is Halcyon Dayz and I'm addicted to morans. |

Nothing could survive passing THAT close to the sun...NOTHING!!!. You don't need to be a scientist to realize that. Our imaginations are tricked into thinking the impossible IS impossible. Fuck that shit! What scientists saw come out on the other side of the sun was a modified trajectory of a ship that whipped around our sun, collecting energy, and continuing its journey to some far off system. ...just sayin some drink from the fountain of knowledge, others just gargle |

So now where is it headed? Certainly the sun changed it's trajectory. The tail... stuck in orbit around the sun... what impact will this have on sunspots? Gulp... Have a nice day = GFY. GFY = Go Fuck Yourself. If this offends you then have a nice day. |

Just sayin... What is a comet? "a celestial body moving about the sun, usually in a highly eccentric orbit, consisting of a central mass surrounded by an envelope of dust and gas that may form a tail that streams away from the sun." No comet could survive a pass THAT close to the sun. Like the "scientists" said (released) - "Astronomers had tracked 2,000 other sun-grazing comets make the same suicidal trip. None had ever survived" Is this a form of disclosure? Not sure. "Only 10 per cent of the comet — which was probably millions of tons" <----- If they only saw 10%...that doesn't exactly mean that most of it disintegrated...did they take modified trajectory into consideration? Probably not! They were probably busy freaking out that it actually survived such a close pass. Just like YU55 that passed near Earth...it changed trajectory. ...just sayin some drink from the fountain of knowledge, others just gargle |

It looks like it went behind the Sun about 0005 UT on the16th. And re-emerged about 0047 UT /16th or about 42 minutes. Now, go back and review the timing, as what might have happened is that it went round the back of the sun and came out the other side unscathed... |
