Re: Is the moon sideways?
This thread was made in january.

Does not matter when it started. However that phenomena happened few days ago as well.

That one is a video filmed in Canada:

Ya, here, take this pic of the moon, right? Hubby and I were talking about this the other night. I was telling him about this thread (and others) talking about the weird "phases" and looks of the moon. I described to him about the moon being kind of "tipped over" so the shadowed part is to the TOP, rather on the right side, like always. He's pretty logical, and even HE said, "That's not possible." The moon is a reflection of light, around the earth from the sun, right? OK. SO HOW does the moon MOVE ITSELF IN ITS OWN SHADOW so that it is reflected at the TOP, rather than to the side?

WOuldn't that mean it is being shadowed by something ABOVE the earth, rather than around the side of the earth - shadowing against the sun - behind us (think sun going down here, rising in the Eastern hemisphere - apologies to those of you who are IN the east!). I'm just trying to explain visually for those who cannot understand what I am saying.

See, doesn't the planet ROTATE east to west, and the SUN move that way, so the SHADOW from the earth on the moon would (naturally) seem to have to be from SIDE TO SIDE, NOT top to bottom?

Adding to my own post:

THe "look" of the moon, would almost make one think the POLES HAVE SHIFTED and the earth is rotating NORTH TO SOUTH, rather than east to west.

There's not a scientific evidence about what's happening right now. All I can say, its not normal at all those recent configuration of the moon in sideway mode.

Whoops, so much for that idea.

What are you lolling about? you have post the same crap: A 40 year old single ..."PHOTO" ,that does not prove anything.
 Quoting: DUCM900

It proves two things; it's been happening for at least 40 years, and many GLP'ers simply didn't notice it before now which is why they think it's unusual. It wouldn't matter how many photos I showed you, you'll always accuse me of being a liar. All you do is attack my character, your posts are worthless. Anyone can check out the book I mentioned and see that photo for themselves in print in a book that was published 14 years ago, long before these GLP'ers claimed to notice it.

Re: Is the moon sideways?
Anyone else notice that the "sideways" moon is pictured in sumerian reliefs (pictures)?

It's a scan of a 41 year old photograph, there is no "direct link to nasa site." If you want to call NASA, they can provide you with a copy. And by the way, I didn't write BS, you did by calling me a liar.

Did you bother to check that book I told you about? You wanted to check out books from the library, well I gave you a reference for one that contains that same photograph.

Got to love the shills. The center of the cresent was at about 7 on the dial this morning. Way out of alignment.

But what did they say:
O have you never heard of the boat of Ra? Ha Ha

This has been happening for 40 years. (snicker)

And which direction was the Sun? You really think the Moon should have appeared exactly upright and NOT pointed toward the sun?

So you can't answer the question? Or you don't want to because it shows the light of the Moon was pointing to the Sun and there was nothing wrong. No, I know, you're just here to be a troll and stir everything up.
