Vision Thing User ID: 8823087 United States 02/11/2012 11:17 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Yes I saw them once but honestly I was too stoned to even remember it. I think I got so high off the joint we smoked that I had an acid flashback. My former roommate is a total deadhead. He followed them on the road and sold tie dyes in the parking lot for years. It was cool living with him then because he was away so much. |

Vision Thing User ID: 8823087 United States 02/11/2012 11:20 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I stopped at the record store after work tonight and was admiring the thirty dollar copy of American Beauty they have there. The special audiophile pressing. It makes me sorry I sold my copy years ago. If I see a nice used one sometime for a decent price I will pick it up. I was stuck in the seventies this evening, bought Linda Ronstadt "Heart like a Wheel" and Little Feat "Time Loves a Hero". Also got Big Country "The Crossing" so I guess I made it a couple of years into the eighties. |

Nice folks as I recall. And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams - Acts 2:17 (KJV) |

Da Purple Chicken User ID: 7667691 United States 02/11/2012 11:42 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I got to go to the last show, Christmas in Oakland, before Jerry died. Someone sprayed the cops with liquid LSD and they were riding their motorcycles all around the parking lot, lights flashing and falling off. Too funny! “If we are peaceful, if we are happy, we can smile and blossom like a flower, and everyone in our family, our entire society, will benefit from our peace.” Thich Nhat Hanh, Being Peace "But ask the animals, and they will teach you, or the birds in the sky, and they will tell you; or speak to the earth, and it will teach you, or let the fish in the sea inform you." - Job 12:7,8 "When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro." - Hunter S. The anticipation of what they would open up with, a Bobby tune or a Jerry tune, usually they would alternate. What they would close the 1st set with, what they would open the 2nd set with. What they would do out of drums/space, what they would close the 2nd set with. What they would do for an encore! So cool! |

My best friends uncle was the manager of the Met, so we got free tickets... We had the entire penalty box from the hockey arena to ourselves... It was werird. We tripped, and I bought a bag of weed... Two girls on ecstasy started chatting us up, they asked for weed, I handed it over to them and they proceeded to pass it around the entire stadium until it was gone... The show was an amazing experience... They disappeared onstage while playing California Fadeaway... Totally awesome |

Chrit User ID: 9751094 United States 02/12/2012 12:28 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | My best friend ran the fence over for a southern Ohio show. We all ended up at Dover Lake once he freed the crowd. Lot of history happened at dover after that. We lost him BTW, his love hit him with a truck by mistake. I'm only human, it's my biggest flaw. We must all realize a sink a chair and a pillow are all luxuries of home and a soldiers helmet takes the place of all three. |
