Atheism is a faith in many ways as much as any other religion. The sureness they express about questions that are empirically unknowable goes beyond the reasoned skepticism of agnosticism and to its own extreme.

That said, I can see how having people post quotes from books that are thousands of years old as absolute truth for how we should live our lives today, no questions asked, would make such a position appealing.

The self-righteousness of certainty is almost always irritating in the proselytizer.

What I don't understand is why and how can Atheists hate and devote so much time and energy against something that they believe doesn't exist? How can you hate something that doesn't exist to you? If you don't believe in a creator, why the fuck would you care one way or the other or if anyone else believes in one. Not a very logical bunch.

Well, as a hardcore christian who supports porn, bestiality and abortion I can only say that the atheists are very naughty and should be stoned!
