I do think that some of what people are saying about Jesus being Lucifer has merit...but I attribute that to the embellishments of the Gospel writers who borrowed from older stories.

At one time, I did agree with the outlook.

But studying this for almost 20 years, I have come to the conclusion that the quotes are parables of Jesus are authentic and unique.

What Jesus said, "Before Abraham was, I Am", that is a very unique statement and would only be announced by someone of the highest wisdom...a fully realized being.

Not only the Biblical Gospels but the Gospel of Thomas as well. True wisdom in the highest sense.

Isn't this just SOOOOO clear??? I don't even have to elaborate on it. Jesus was plainly saying that "His body" was a tabernacle/tent for the Holy Spirit/Father which dwelt in Him and gave Him life. People get so confused over the "body" which we call "Jesus Christ".

If there is NO OTHER ROCK and the GOD OF THE OLD TESTAMENT has spoken that WE ARE HIS WITNESSES and Christ is THAT ROCK AND WE ARE HIS WITNESSES... DO the MATH!

Either Christ was blaspheming or He was telling the TRUTH! The Pharisees attributed His statements to blasphemy and crucified Him. This is the mark of the beast as there is only one sin that men cannot be forgiven of...

There is only one other thing that men cannot be forgiven of and that is taking the Mark of the Beast. They really ARE one and the same, I believe.

Satan is now working overtime to bring people to the point of blaspheming the Holy Spirit where people will confess that Jesus was Satan in disguise.

Once confessed, there is no turning back. Those who have the mark will be much like Lamplite and will spew blasphemies and hate towards Christians as this is the sign of their demonic alliance with Satan.

We who believe confess with our mouths that JESUS IS GOD AND LORD OF ALL.

You got it! A stumbling stone.... and the wording sounds a bit like the "capstone" to a pyramid and the pyramid is a symbol of those who have delved into the occult and myths the likes of which Zeitgeist touts.

I stumbled upon this thread trying to locate an old online book called 'Beware of God' I believe written in the 80's/90's. No joy. It suggested Lucifer as our saviour from a Tyrant God. makes sense to me.

Although IMO the Stories in Bible/Jesus/God can be traced back to previous versions in Paganism and Ancient cultures. Similar names, players, outcomes to the allegory of the Bible. The Great Flood/ A God/Deity that dies and rises from the dead in three days. All repeated (No coincidence) there is a CORE truth to these stories, yet IMO the original stories are from ancient cultures, that have been rewritten through history top suite the religious powers of the day. For me the original stories document major natural upheavals via the Spheres, and due to the superstitious nature of Man and his inherent imagination from that time, faced with these unprecedented events such as Eclipses/Asteroids/Comets/Alignments/Pole Shifts etc etc that impacted violently on their survival, those cultures gave personality to these Astronomical/Earth change events without the science we know today to explain them.

There is such a major clue with Lucifer/Venus which is about to transit across the Sun and herald a rough ride for Mankind if one follows the history of such an Astronomical event. Again the affect of planets on mankind is science not myth. The moon affects the tides. Your blood is fluid. Emergency wards are busier during a Full Moon. (Clues). The planets are messengers and markers for CHANGE. The Occultists know this and use it for Good and Bad intentions.

If you read the Revelations as a creative description of procession of planets, Comets, Asteroids, and resulting Volcanic activity/ Earthquakes/Floods it reads like a map to me and makes the most sense. ;-) Google is your best friend. Followed by Discernment.

I don't think you got the point of my thread. The point was that Lucifer refers to Venus and Isaiah 14 is a mistranslation.

Jesus is NOT Satan, but the mistranslation will lead many to believe this is true. IT IS NOT!

It was a setup and Jesus IS the Son of God. It's just that the name Lucifer was applied to the bright morning star and Satan is said to be referred to in Isaiah 14.

It's all mixed up.

Plato clearly here is speaking of Lucifer as being the actual planet Venus, with Hermes as being the planet Mercury.

I'm not sure many understand why this misunderstanding is even of importance, but I feel it may play into the end times since many are keen to say that Satan and Jesus are one and the same... OR that Jesus (as Lamplite puts forth) is the evil one pulling people away from the Father.

This simply is not true! People need to understand the names and LUCIFER is a big one as it could lead to a whole bunch of misunderstanding in the last days. It all depends on what the last days deception will be and how it will play out.

This mistranslation could turn out to be a huge thing in the end and I feel it is important to know why the name Lucifer is not applied to Satan.

I also feel it is important to know that when Jesus said He is the "bright morning star" (which is an allusion to Venus)... that it has NOTHING to do with Satan as the name "Lucifer/Venus" has nothing to do with Satan.

Satan is the devil, the dragon, the serpent.. he is NOT LUCIFER.

Christ is not LUCIFER either. Lucifer is ONLY a name that was applied to the planet Venus.

I'm hoping that people understand this, but maybe the name Lucifer has been imprinted in peoples mind SO deeply as being Satan, that it's too late.

Let us examine the Scripture on important issues of eternal consequence.
A. Jesus Christ is The Way The Truth and The Life
John 14:6
“Jesus said unto him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, But by Me.”
Acts 4:12
"Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven giving among men, whereby we must be saved."
1 John 5:11-13
11 “And this is the record, that God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe in the name of the Son of God.”
The Bible reveals clearly that the Godhead is made up of three separate Persons, each distinct from the other. The first is called God the Father, the second is God the Son and the third is God the Holy Spirit. These three separate Persons make up the one God that we serve. Each one of these three Persons is God in all fullness. No one is greater than the others. The three Persons are united in one and there can be no separation. Each one of these three is the Creator, the Lord, and the eternal God. Yet we do not have three Creators, Lords, or eternal Gods, but One. The Scripture says:
"And Jesus answered him, The first of all the commandments is, Hear O Israel; The Lord our God is One Lord."Mark 12:29
God the Son came to the world in human form. His name was called Jesus Christ. He came to save mankind from sin and to restore man to eternal life with God.
John 1:1-3, 10, 14
1 “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
2 The same was in the beginning with God.
3 All things were made by Him; and without Him was not any thing made that was made.
10 He was in the world, and the world was made by Him, and the world knew him not.
14 And the Word (Jesus) was made flesh and dwelled among us (and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.”
Matthew 1:21-23
21 “And she shall bring forth a son, and thou shalt call His name JESUS: for He shall save His people from their sins.
22 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying,
23 Behold a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call His name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.”
Your eyes now have opened clearly to the One that suffered because of your sins, the One that was crucified on the cross, that died, was buried and rose from death on the third day; the One that gave the commission that the gospel be preached in all the world to make people believe on Him for the forgiveness of their sins and the salvation of their souls; the One that went back to heaven and promised that He would be coming back to the world to take His true believers to be with Him and to condemn rebellious sinners to everlasting hell fire, prepared for Satan and his angels. Your eyes have opened clearly to who JESUS is — our Lord and our God.
John 20: 27-29
27 “Then said He to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold My hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into My side: and be not faithless, but believing.
28 And Thomas answered and said unto Him, My Lord and my God.
29 Jesus said unto him, Thomas, because thou hast seen Me, thou hast believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.”
There is no Salvation in any Other Religion or Belief
All those who seek the salvation of their souls through other religions or persons (saints, prophets, masters, etc.) can never find true salvation and can never enter into heaven.
John 10:8-11
To reject Jesus is to reject the God of your life. To reject Jesus means you have chosen to go to hell and be damned forever along with Satan and his subjects.
Special Adoration or Worship of Any Saint is Idolatry
There are those who exalt, adore and worship Mary the earthly mother of Jesus. They pray to her or through her. They also adore some dead saints and pray to them or through them. The Bible has this to say of such people:
Romans 1:20-22,
"Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and He will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon."
Psalm 51:1, 2
1 “Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy loving-kindness: according unto the multitudes of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions
2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.”
Thirdly, Jesus Christ is the Saviour from sin. You cannot stop sinning by your power without Him. Welcome Him into your life to give you the power to overcome sin. When Jesus comes into your life He will save you from sin and give you the power of righteousness. Apart from Him there is no other one and no other way.
Acts 16:30, 31
30 “And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
When you give your life to Jesus Christ your sins are forgiven and you have a new life from God. Your name enters into the book of life in heaven. Surely, you will not want to start committing new sins and to get your name removed from the book of life. You must determine to continue in Christ by living a righteous life every day to the end of your life on earth. The Holy Spirit will guide you into all truth, obey Him. Do not be afraid of man and be not ashamed of following Jesus. Dissociate from evil friends, relationships and associations.
1 John 3:9, 10
9 “Whosoever is born of God doth no commit sin; for His seed remaineth in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God
10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever doeth not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loveth not his brother.”
Colossians 2:6-8
6 “As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk ye in Him.
7 Rooted and built up in Him, and stablished in the faith, as ye have been taught, abounding therein with thanksgiving.
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ.”
Water Baptism
Having given your life to Jesus Christ, you will need to submit yourself to water baptism. Water baptism follows repentance and faith on the Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 8:35-39
35 “Then Philip opened his mouth, and began at the same scripture, and preached unto him Jesus.
36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?
37 And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.
38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.
39 And when they were come up out of the water, the Spirit of the Lord caught away Philip, that the eunuch saw him no more: and he went on his way rejoicing.”
The scriptural water baptism is one immersion into water in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.
Matthew 28:19
"Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost."
Water baptism is not for ignorant and unconverted children, nor for unrepentant adult. Those who were baptized when they were still sinners need to be baptized when they truly repent and give their lives to Jesus Christ. The apostles practiced water baptism according to the instruction given to them by the Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 2:38
"Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost."
Baptism in the name of Jesus Christ as seen in the above passage and in other passages in Acts of the Apostles means baptism as instructed or authorised by Jesus Christ.
Baptism With the Holy Ghost
Baptism with the Holy Ghost or the gift of the Holy Ghost is the coming of the Holy Spirit upon a believer in baptismal measure for the purpose of filling him with power for effective Christian service. All believers are promised the baptism with the Holy Spirit by God. This is received by prayer and faith on God’s promises.
Acts 1:8
"But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto Me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth."
Luke 11:13
"If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to them that ask Him."
The scriptural evidence of baptism with the Holy Spirit is speaking in tongues as the Spirit inspires.
Acts 2:4
"And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance."
Acts 10:44-46
44 “While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them which heard the word.
45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Ghost.
46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God.”
Speaking in tongues as evidence of baptism with the Holy Spirit is given to every believer who is baptized with the Holy Spirit for the purpose of prayer and personal edification.
Ezekiel 33:14-16
14 “Again, when I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;
15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he hath robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.
16 None of his sins that he hath committed shall be mentioned unto him: he hath done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.”

You MUST be Born Again
You cannot educate a slave into royalty because he was born a slave and even if you put him in a palace he will still be a slave because in his heart he is a slave. You cannot educate a sinner and make him a child of God because he was born into the slavery of sin. Jesus said that he who sins is a slave of sin.
You need to be BORN AGAIN, you need to be BORN INTO ROYALTY, you need to be BORN INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD or else, AT HEART YOU WILL ALWAYS REMAIN A SLAVE OF SIN. You cannot educate a person to be a child of God, he needs to be born again and that is what Jesus meant when He said to Nicodemus, as it is written in John 3:3-8 “Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, UNLESS ONE IS BORN AGAIN HE CANNOT SEE THE KINGDOM OF GOD.” 4Nicodemus said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” 5Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, UNLESS ONE IS BORN OF WATER AND THE SPIRIT HE CANNOT ENTER INTO THE KINGDOM OF GOD. 6“That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7“Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’ 8“The wind blows where it wishes and you hear the sound of it, but do not know where it comes from and where it is going; so is everyone who is born of the Spirit.”
A person who is born again of the Spirit of God IS A NEW MAN. The world does not understand him and that is why Jesus said he is like the wind, you don’t know where it comes from and where it is going next because that person is led by the Spirit of God. He can see the kingdom of God.
If you are not born again you cannot visualize, you cannot understand the kingdom of God, you are not of the kingdom of God, you are not royalty, YOU ARE A SINNER. You need to be BORN AGAIN!
He who is in Christ is a NEW MAN, the old things have passed away, HE IS NOT A SLAVE OF SIN ANY MORE, he is royalty, he is a child of God, HE IS A SAINT.
Have you been born again? Do you want to be born again and become a child of God? Then you must REPENT, you must FALL ON YOUR KNEES AND CRY OUT TO JESUS. Say:”Lord, I want You to be my Lord and Master. I don’t want to be a slave of sin any more! Please set me free from the bondage of sin! I don’t want to live the life of a sinner any more! I want to be a child of God!” Jesus will set you free. He will forgive your past sins and He will set you free from the bondage of sin and addiction. He will make you royalty, He will make you born again! He will make you a child of God, and then you have to go and bury the old man, you must go and be baptized in water so that the old man of sin can be buried under the water and out of it comes a new man, a new creature in Christ and then you ask Him to baptize you in the HOLY SPIRIT, to FILL YOU WITH THE SPIRIT OF CHRIST! If you do not have the Spirit of Christ, you do not belong to Him.
If you are in Christ you are NEW! You are not of the world any more, you are a different person. You cannot help but be a witness for Jesus because you are filled with the Spirit of God!
Have you been born again? Or have you just been educated? It is not about education, it is about REGENERATION. Have you been regenerated? Are you NEW INSIDE? Ask Jesus for the NEW BIRTH and He will change you inside, HE WILL MAKE YOU ROYALTY, He will make you a child of God.
YOU must be born again to enter the kingdom of Heaven!
