Re: Black out in all Guatemala allready 3 hours without electricity
SO FUNNY

when you want to leave the states these people will show you how to live.

don't diss others.

you have no idea how much the people here love US citizens.

i get nothing but respect.

that's probably because that's what i give to everyone else..

check your self bro....

much love down south.....

you never know till you go......
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 8124284

You got that right. I walk like the Latinos do, with no fear, and love and kindness in my heart, and that is all I have ever experienced from the people in return, a love and openness like I never knew in the US. I should have moved here decades ago.

However people come from the US and Canada with fear and arrogance and they find problems all around and stir up all the problems they fear, which I never even need to confront.

The average visitor from the US, Canada, France, or Poland is a pain in the ass and invariably been a shame to even be seen with. These are the cultures that like to indulge in complaints and negativity it seems. The people from Great Britain, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, and most other countries have had a more natural sense of how to relate to people here. It seems to be a cultural issue.

The people of these cultures, Mexico and Guatemala, are truly the most loving and supportive people who I have ever known, and yes they do consider me a gabacho from the US, but one with the right attitude and that is why the show me love.

The attitude of the people truly starts with your very own attitude at the core. You show enough love and kindness to anyone, even the reptiles of the north, and you will be way better off. Arrogance and whining and complaining in Latin America will only deepen your personal hell.

So how is you have internet service and power for your computer, without electricity anyhow? Government shill it sounds like to me.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 11372603

Haha, like their national dog, the Chihuahua, always yapping at the bigger dog when they have no business doing so.

Why would they want to slap me around? They come begging for jobs to my country illegally, begging for mercy, then kick in the teeth their brothers to the South for trying to do the same thing.

Besides, aren't people in Chiapas murdering each other 24/7? What time do they have to slap anyone else around?

By the way, Mexico is a hellhole compared to Guatemala. I've been to both and I don't need to tell you which one is better. A shame too, since Mexico has much more in the way of natural resources (read land and oil). But hey, throw all the money in the world at it and a crappy country will still squander it and descend into corruption and thuggery.

Keep churning out tv soap operas and tacos, which is what you do best. That oil of yours is about to run out soon. s226

Sorry for the non-English but this is specifically for the Guatemalan

Dices...

Ocean Nuke to Cause Tsunamis; Cabal Ships Head South
by Former White Hat

The Cabal set off a nuke in the seabed of the Northern East Pacific Rise 10°N,105°W. It is believed they self-destructed one of their bases for unknown reasons. Many Gray and Mantis ships seen emerging from the ocean and going toward Antarctica, engaging in air battles with the Fourth Reich fleet.

Acapulco and Guatamala City are embracing for tsunamis. Coastal residents urged to relocate inland.

It's all good here. Was a little odd to lose power, as that rarely happens in middle-class and well-to-do areas.

I did wonder is there was a "message" sent somehow. The new Prez here wants to legalize drugs to stop the violence. Napolitano was here recently to tell him it was a very bad idea. They've been pressuring him to drop the "legalize it" rhetoric.

Interestingly, before the power went out, I was reading the paper here regarding yet another meeting with US and Guatemalan officials. The US rep, William Brownfield, hilariously said, and I translate "In the US, we have analyzed the concept (legalization), and we agree it doesn't work, not because of moral or psychological reasons, health reasons, delinquency, or criminality." There was a huge WTF, as he didn't offer any argument against legalization either. Some here were wondering if he meant the answer was money, guns, and lethal force.

Oh well. And to the retards cracking on the country, go watch some YouTube videos. This place has attractions that put the US to shame. Sure, it's a 3rd world country, but they are proud, independent people and have always tried to do what's right for them.

Me gusta muchas cosas alla.

They have 10,000 small running cages for squirrels. There was actually a virus that went through the grid, they all got sick and died. There's a mad rush to find replacements. I hear they are even considering genetically modified squirrels that eat less and can't stop running. Soon as they get their order, power will resume.

Spent some time in Santa Lucia Milpas Altas about 20 years ago. It is a little mountain town halfway between Antigua and Guatemala City. Wonderful, friendly people and El Gallo beer! At that time, there was power for maybe 4 hours a day in that town. Hope all is well....que le vaya bien!

Only 3 hours!

Hermano, this is a daily occurrence in Estado de Mexico.

But how could I possibly complain? I've lived here 8 years in various places and nobody has ever paid a centavo for the electricity, just a web of diablos or pirate lines at every power pole, and covered with spider webs.

My God brother, and the santisima Virgin Guadalupe. 21 hours of free electricity is better than 24 hours of electricity paid for, but you still get the blackouts even if you pay for it. You are obviously no Latino, get a candle and go gather some leña.

There may come an age soon when we will have no electricity, period. You best start getting used to that soon, because I guarantee you that your neighbors are better prepared than you.

Hehe... Depends on whether you're an inbred or not ;)

The preferred term is Guatelinda or Guatebuena :)

Guatemala had electricity?
 Quoting: BRIEF

They have 10,000 small running cages for squirrels. There was actually a virus that went through the grid, they all got sick and died. There's a mad rush to find replacements. I hear they are even considering genetically modified squirrels that eat less and can't stop running. Soon as they get their order, power will resume.

Thanks, most people can't understand the technical side of engineering and electrical theory, but I totally get it.

Wow, the (hopefully) sarcastic and racist comments here are surprising. The attempts at humor here are miserable failures at best (no mention of the Taco Copter drone?). Lots of ignorance, hate, stupidity and poor taste spewed by the morans here at GLP.
