you have to be walking in the SPIRIT to know the LORD and unlock the mysteries of the Scripturese. It is not about your interpretation. It is about the SPIRIT leading. Something our flesh does not understand and never will.

OK. OP here's a real simple question. In your mind Jesus isn't from another world right meaning he's not alien. What makes you so sure he's not, nothing in the bible say's he not an alien, but more words point to the fact that he is from another world, "alien"

WHY CAN'T JESUS BE ALIEN OP? (and you can't say "well he just isn't" just back up something in your reading of the bible that say's he's not.

Here is another thought I have been considering, or perhaps struggling with, lately, regarding this verse here:

Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.

John 14:7

Everywhere in the Bible Jesus always says "No one comes to the FATHER, but through me." Or he says specifically, no one may enter the "kingdom of God;" without Him. Jesus NEVER specifically says that the only way to Heaven is through Him. He never uses that word, "heaven." He always refers to it as "the kingdom of God."

I have begun to start believing that perhaps Heaven, or the spiritual world, is a very very large dimension, with different places in it. Within heaven there is a Kingdom of God, but there may be other nice places as well, places outside the Kingdom of God. Some people who believe in God, but perhaps haven't believed in Christ (like jewish people, maybe Muslims, etc) will enter into heaven but they still will not be able to enter the Kingdom of God until they are more spiritually developed.

I told my husband of my thoughts...(he has also been a well-studied traditional protestant Christian for many years and has also studied some in seminary)...and he warned me that, it is possible what I say is true, BUT that he chooses to believe that Jesus is the only way because it is "better safe than sorry." In other words, it's better to be sure you are going to the Kingdom of God that to risk being wrong and going to hell. He says he doesn't want to lead anyone astray by inserting our "own thoughts" into what the Bible has said (even if we believe our thoughts may have come from the Holy Spirit. He says we can't be sure yet if those thoughts come from the Holy Spirit or if they are lies from the devil.) I agree with him on those points too.

Anyone else have thoughts or insights on this?

I believe in God. However... After years of bible stufy the contradictions are tugging at my mind. (and dont say its the devil.)
As in, we are told we will be told we will be judged by our works. Yet, all through out the bible we are also told we will be judged by the works of our fathers.

The death of Judas. The Matthew version does not add up to the Acts version.

Funny thing is that Religious folks think that Jesus never cursed.. They think that he never had sex.. They think that he was this boring asshole who had no life..

Nope. Jesus is a son of God. Just like we can become sons and daughters of God. No different. Your bibles have been doctored and rewritten by the religious powers that be.

Why would Jesus say :



17 Jesus said, “Do not hold on to me, for I have not yet returned to the Father. Go instead to my brothers and tell them, ‘I am returning to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.’”

Let's take the words of Jesus Himself. John 14:12


12Verily, verily I say unto you, he that believeth in Me, the works that I do he shall do also; and greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto My Father.

This very clearly states that those of us that believe in Jesus, will be able to do the works/miracles that He did and greater. There is no way to disagree with these words of Jesus. This being the case, there is no way Jesus could have been the only Son of God, or part of the Trinity.

As Jesus himself said, we would be able to do greater works then he did. That cannot be possible if Jesus is God, as that means we would be able to do greater works then God.

The only conclusion any rational human being can make is:
1)Jesus is not God
2)Jesus actually never said these words, but maybe somebody added them to the bible
3) the translation got screwed up

My own research proved that neither 2 or 3 is a possibility, as cross referencing all other bible passages confirms that Jesus actually did say these words.

My personal belief is that Jesus came down to earth to show us how to achieve Christhood or the Christ consciousness.

People are more than happy to accept the idea that Jesus Christ was the only son of God. Why is this so? Because this gives them the ultimate excuse for continuing their lifestyle. If Jesus was the only son of God, then they could not possibly follow in his footsteps. Therefore, they could do nothing to work out their own salvation. They simply had to wait for the outer savior, Jesus, to come and save them.

If Jesus was an example to follow, then people might have a responsibility to follow Him. In other words, if they had the potential to become Christed beings, and if doing so would require them to make an effort, they would have to change their ways.

Do you see how the idea that Jesus was the only son of God can become the ultimate excuse which gives people the perfect justification for continuing in their ways?

I pray that all Christians come to an understanding of the true purpose of Jesus' teachings: to tell us and show us how to achieve a state of Christhood in this current life stream. Namaste!
