Hubby is out of town to see his mom she has surgery tomorrow... and after helping my 12 yr old with her homework all night ... I need drugs... or alcohol... or both....

Instead I will take advantage of not having to share my bed and go to sleep and sleep on his side tonight lol..

Just wanted to pop in and say hi to everyone! I haven't been on GLP for a few days, my husband's going to be having back surgery soon so if anyone has any good vibes to send please do so! He'll have to have two discs removed and then the bones will be fused. Scary stuff :( If you don't see me around much, it'll probably be because I'm taking care of him.

I hate grammar. and what I hate about it most.. is having to relearn different parts of it over and over again with each kid...... And I still couldn't tell you a predicate nominative is if my life depended on it.

Thanks guys, today's the day so I'm sitting on pins and needles waiting to find out all goes well. I have read some pretty scary stuff about back surgery, it's not something you want to mess around with. He may need a 2nd surgery on his lower back as well.

My son finishes school at the end of the year and wants to study sound engineering, his plan was to do a local course that would take three years to finish, but we are also encouraging him to look at perhaps studying in the US, and my wife sent a request for information to a few US institutions, and to our surprise one of them phoned my son just now and had a ten minute chat with him...very surprised about that

There are a lot of really good schools for engineering here in the USA. Let us know how it goes !

I hope and pray things continue to improve ! How long is the expected recovery time?

I have so many beats, that in my opinion, have amazing melodies, but my only problem is making them into more complete beats with changes, drops, intros, outros, bridges, etc....

I get hung up on the main melody part, like completely stuck on it for hours, and by the time I realize what I'm doing I save and then stop for a while. I feel as if I'm ruining the beat sometimes, and other times, after I save the beat and stop, I'[l completely forget that I started making the beat.
