Meltdowns happened the first day. Tepco has drilled 3 wells to pump out groundwater to try to lessen flooding in the basements. One of the wells[at least] has tested for tritium... so, the groundwater is contaminated. This water will be pumped into the ocean.

Since they are in there, it can be repaired. We all still might get our cancer sooner than we would have, but we are not having to evacuate anytime soon to the south.
