Paul Krugan says that inflation helps the poor and middle class. I'm sure the poor and middle class love paying more for their groceries and gas. Paul Krugman also thinks that wars are good for the economy. If that's really true, why don't we just build and destroy empty cities over and over again to really get the economy going? Paul Krugman also claims that the FED doesn't influence prices but clearly states that the FED can cause inflation, as well as manipulate interest rates. The current zero interest rate policy is really hurting savers and those on fixed incomes. Paul Krugman also advocates increasing our debt to GDP ratio by another 30%. You don't get out of debt by taking on more debt. If printing boatloads of money created prosperity then one would have to wonder why the Weimar Republic ended so poorly. Look for the gold price to finish up again this year like it has every year since 1999. Paul Krugman is a moron with zero credibility.
