Barbara Hand-Clow wrote a few books on the Mayan Calendar using alot of other's contributions of their studies of the Mayan Calendar, and I may not be remembering correctly, but each 256 year period sees power change from the east to the west, or vice versa. They mention the wars during each of these time periods, and locate the world tree right around Iran/Israel...etc.
They also show that "time" accelerates because each time period is shorter than the one before. Each Day and Night of the calendar get faster and faster until the completion of the Long Count.

The phrase Novus ordo Seclorum found under the pyramid is claimed to mean "New order of the ages", but Seclorum is not derived or conjugated from latin. It is a facade.

The latin “Saeculum” meaning “Age”, but rather is a conjugation of the verb “Secludo“, which means "to shut out, banish or sunder”. The meaning proffered is “New Order of the Ages“, which is a fabrication. The correct translation being “The New Order Shut Out“.

The end of the age of pieces and the beginning of the age of Aquarius which is suppose to happened at 11:11 on Dec. 21 2012. The new order represented by pieces, the fish, will be shut out.


The other phrase Annuit Ceoptis is also a play on words and a fabrication of facts.
In this particular translation, “Annuit” would be derived from the latin verb “Annullo“, which means, to annihilate, to bring to nothing, or to obliterate. “Coeptis” is a form of “Coeptus“, which means “a beginning” or “an undertaking“.

The “oe” vowel is made into a single character, which doesn’t exist in latin grammar, and never did.
There are purposeful misspellings here, so the phrase may conceal a number of distinct meanings, which take on completely different connotations by changing just one-letter of each word.

5 x 5125 = 25,625 years

NASA puts this calculation at 25,800 and often refers to the "processional cycle of 26,000 years" in its literature.

Could be similar to what Nostradamus predicted 2 quatrains before the "1999" prediction. "...And the EYE swells much!" might be referring to the freaking hole in that thing called the O-zone layer. Would also explain the dry weather in places and uncontrollable fires.

So for the mayans the Sun is something like an 'artificial' thing that end after a cycle and then return in onother one?

It is the end of an age. Which is the end of a sun. Why else would you keep track of cycles? If cycles meant no importance to humanity/earth than cycles would have no meaning watsoever.

Why is the average human life expectancy between 70-74 years old????? Why don't we have a life expectancy of around 200-225 years old??? Certain end dates of cycles have more importance than others, thats why.
