(but nothing like 30 partners) He's self assured and man enough to know that we all have pasts. And, he also knows that not all women are gold diggers. In fact there are as many male gold diggers as female. I suppose, in an ideal world, women and men would have their first sexual experience on their wedding night. But, the real world doesn't work that way.

As an older man who unfortunately has dated more than I ever thought I would, and at a later age than I thought I would, I think your response is a good one and reflects the problems that a "GOOD WOMAN" who is younger actually faces in this world.

Many women, unfortunately the majority I would have to say, after two or three of those "disappearing acts" do change their entire philosophy and become "users". When added to the percentage who are that way naturally (users), it means that a large majority of single women over 25 ARE "users", and MEN MUST BE BOTH CAUTIOUS AND FEARFUL if they are looking for a solid long term, no cut, contract.

If a man is merely looking for some "fun" ... then the modern dating scene can provide multiple partners for that ...
