I live in Washington State and had a Manx Cat named Kimo Sabe. This cat was an outdoor cat and let me tell you something. He left every known form of animal in our county, dead on the porch welcome mat. This occurred like clockwork almost every day. No, he didn't kill our horses, goat or chickens, but I digress.

Kimo was simply letting us know he had a handle on all things creeping within our property.

I forgot to add that I personally witnessed Kimo take down a Red Tailed Hawk from a fence post in our pasture.

He's bringing you a gift. He's not really hungry or he would have eaten it. He loves you.

Is a gift an he likes you, tell him that you are grateful, and give him some milk as a reward.

Routine cat behavior.

Mine brought inside a dead mouse last night and began tossing it into the air like it was a toy!

I'm too creeped out to pick them up after he kills them but you can sweep them onto a dust pan and flush them away.

He varies his offering amongst baby rabbits, murdered birds and an assorted species of rodents from mice to baby squirrels.

Our little one brings all sorts of stuff, at varying stages of "living", into the house. She's basically decimated the robin population of the neighborhood, and we've determined that something in moles makes her puke. Mice, she'll eat except for their little butts. She doesn't care for the poop chute. Grasshoppers or crickets get her high (she always gets this dumb look on her face for about an hour after eating them). She'll only leave female birds that are a little older as an "offering" usually at my bedroom door.

Clearly this is DOOM people.

So, you must preserve these gifts that your parents can see what kitty did while they were away. Maybe a small bow on each would be a nice touch.

I had two that were fearless hunters and pranksters too.
I had a queen size bed, with a bed skirt of heavy material and a large heavy oversized quilt. This made a "cage" of sorts,under the bed, according to the cats. They progressed from leaving dead animals on the door step to hiding live animals (birds, mice, chipmunks, etc.) in their mouth, bringing them inside, crawling under, and placing them under the bed where these live animals were then trapped/caged by the heavy material,and could be further tortured/played with for hours. Fun.
Finally started to check their mouth before letting them indoors.

Perhaps your guardian angel is trying to send you a message using this kitteh.

It is that -believe it or not- the cat is a domestic animal. Just showing you he is doing his part of the deal. So be careful in doing yours.

This, it brought you some game to eat, all cleaned and everything! The best cat I ever owned always found a leaf or a scrap of cloth or paper and arranged the "gift" on it for my enjoyment. Presentation is everything!
