How about nails? An unlimited supply would be very useful to build, fix..
How about a saw?
Tools.

Then you'd better hope you've alreay eaten if you plan on building/stringin a bow. I'd rather build shelter/make a fire than that. It takes a lot of energy to build a proper bow, just finding the right roots and stringing them correctly could take days. I can make shelter or a fire within hours.

Re: What item in this Poll would you most want in a post apocalyptic World????
I've read and seen on television that bleach is the most important thing you can have with you in a survival scenario.

1) Purify water
2) Sanitize stuff
3) Clean out wounds (with an EXTREMELY diluted solution)
4) Flammable
5) Miscellaneous uses

I can start a fire on my own but I'm positive books of matches would be available. #6, 7, 8, and 12 are not really necessary.
Items 1-4, while are extremely vital there are ways to go around them. If trail mix were the only food stuffs then the other 11 items are unnecessary.

 Quoting: George B

Those were not listed. Obviously they are important, but with shelter one can find it almost anywhere. Caves, abandoned houses, sheds, go to the local dump and salvage scrap metal. With the prevalence of Walmart's, Targets and even grocery stores, as well as store houses, Goodwill's, and then abandoned homes, one could easily loot clothing.
Funny thing is that since I was 14 I've always looked for ways to fortify my living space in the even of...wait for it...a zombie attack.
Other than humans being able to burn my shelter down, the simple ways of protecting it in case of a zombie attack would also work on humans. But then there's my ego, so I'm sure my house would be sacked and me raped if the bastards were evil enough.

I would choose the Bic Lighter and then team up with someone who has the unlimited supply of Trail Mix and someone else with unlimited supplies of bags etc.
Eventually we should have a well supplied community. beared

Haha, this.
How about in case of an impending collapse we assign an item to each person to scavenge and then we meet up in a location. Imagine a tribe of GLP'ers, complete with tin-foil hats, unlimited supplies of trail mix and trash bags, and of course the GLP observatory to contact the Zeta's to protect us against Nibiru/Solar Flares and Fukushima-mutated tomato plants.
