Anonymous Coward User ID: 31566384 United States 02/21/2013 02:06 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Weird and unexplained bubbling water in Lake Peigneur is no new phenomenon. Most of the time residents just comment about it and brush it off. But the bubbling on Wednesday morning was different. The bubbling was more active than it's been in quite some time and the entire lake was lined with bubbles. [link to www.klfy.com] |

Does one have the butane we were initially worried about? That's what I got out of it, but they make it damned confusing sometimes. On purpose too, I suppose. So if this second well caves, what are we talking here? An underground cavern that will consist of not only the original sinkhole(which is fucking HUGE now, btw) but also the space in the second well? Will they come together and make a super sinkhole? And what is being held in the wells that could be hazardous to the residents of the area? Justitiae soro Fides |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 36039812 United States 03/12/2013 11:32 PM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Glad SOMEONE finally visited the area that could get some media attention, but am curious as to whether Brokovitch got info about the gas pressure that hadn't been released before, or if she just spoke out loudly enough to be heard. Those of us who have followed this since day 1 have repeatedly said that the gas was dangerous and the Dawgs kept warning that there was going to be a huge explosion. Turns out that TX Brine, and maybe even some of the alphabet agencies that have been on-site since last summer have known the problem was escalating, but have downplayed or outright lied about what was going on. I'm just surprised that it's taken this long - I expected catastrophe before the end of 2012.I pray that the folks of Bayou Corne take heed and get out now. And if any of the Dawgs are reading, thanks for all you've done to get the word out. Stay safe. Quoting: justanothergranny God has a schedule. Should he chime in here, it's likely things will go very South, very fast. Only clues I can give. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 1461956 United States 03/17/2013 12:07 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | The former East Texas, back again. I myself had a bout with the upper respiratory illness that is going round. It's not pleasant, and a month later I'm still affected. The booms reported....well, everywhere....are related to the seismic activity at Bayou Corne and Macondo. Except you didn't know about the Macondo seismics. Did you. There was talk of "what's exactly in that hole". Re-read this thread. What's happening, without much reporting or fanfare, was predicted some months back. Hear a 'boom'? Start tracking respiratory illness in that area for a few weeks. It's not going to get better, and we've pretty much said all we CAN say. We've got families too. But then we've already been over that, too. Just because time has passed doesn't mean the threat has lessened. Far from it. You were warned, do with it what you will. CUZZ that's what we do. North Texas out. God be with you. |
