Would You Be Willing To Die For Your Faith?
This is truly a chilling question, because it causes us to consider whether we would have the strength and courage to profess our faith in the face of death.

I'm sure most of you remember Columbine, when members of the "trench-coat mafia" asked students if they believed in God before they were shot to death. Have you ever put yourself in that position, and pondered what you would do?

I cannot honestly say what I would do, I'd like to think that I would be brave enough to state my beliefs. What about you?
"Be still, and know that I am God." Psalm 46:10

Truth needs no validation because it is self-evident and undeniable. Therefore, anything that requires validation to be realized or justified as truth must contain at least some degree of falsehood.

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

I have no 'faith' in anything. If something cannot be empirically proven I do not 'believe' in it. I admit there is a possibility that it exists, but that's all. There is no point in having faith. It goes against one's survival instinct and is therefore dangerous...so no!

I propose to you a question. If I show you how to find Father, will you do so?
1 Timothy 3:16 KJV
And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.

Isaiah 9:6 KJV
For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.

Mark 16:16 KJV
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.

Acts 2:38 KJV
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

Romans 8:6-9 KJV
6) For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.
7) Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.
8) So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God.
9) But ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of his.

Matthew 15:8-9 KJV
8) This people draweth nigh unto me with their mouth, and honoureth me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.
9) But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

Acts 5:29 KJV
Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.

Re: Would You Be Willing To Die For Your Faith?
As for the OP, I'm already suffering the same sufferings as my Father, so why would death not be an option? That said, He has already told me of some of my future. Thank you Lord, I'll be here until He comes and with a family to boot. However, He has been telling me for the past several of months, that they will come after me and I know they will, but they won't find me, for Father will protect me. Nothing's better than having the Holy Ghost. Mark 16:16, John 3 and Romans 8 KJV.

Remember what's at stake, an eternity in heaven, or an eternity in hell.

Keeping this in mind, it's an easy choice. Yes, I would die for my faith, and I won't deny Jesus Christ.

I re-read those chapters as I enjoy reading the bible much like I enjoy reading the book of thoth or the necronomicon. I don't 'believe' in any of those books. They're just fun to read.
I'm sorry mate, but if 'the father' has to resort to the printing press to get his message out then he's a pitiful and apathetic father.
When I want my son to do something I tell him myself and if I happen to leave him a note asking him to do something, he'll do it because he knows I wrote it. If my neighbour writes a note (on my behalf) telling him to do something I won't blame him if he doesn't. In f
act I would commend him for not doing it.
Religion is very comforting to you I'm sure, but that doesn't make it true. :-)

Death is nothing to be feared.. The thought of death without God IS FAR WORSE than a measly few minute death. And those that want to enter the tribulation without having accepted Christ will be wishing for death to escape the torture and torment. You accept the mark of the beast and you will be damned to plagues and eternal hellfire.. Make your choice Jesus or Barack Hussein.

Re: Would You Be Willing To Die For Your Faith?
How did I know that, I'd get that generic excuse? I rather dislike it, when atheist "truthers" pride themselves on trying to find the "Truth", but are in fact only limited to one subject in particular. Bill Cooper is a perfect example of someone who before was an unbeliever, but did not let that limitation stop him from wanting the truth and what did he find out??? That the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is REAL. So I ask you, just how wanting of the Truth are you? Why not do what a true truther is supposed to? Here, you have a manual to find God, but instead of doing the truther thing and seeing it out, you reject it. Ha. As for religion, what do you mean? That I'm supposed to partake in pagan traditions such a Christ-mass, Ish-tar, self worship days and the like? Or am I'm supposed to reject the true Sabbath for sun-day worship? Or am I supposed to be someone who talks the talk, but doesn't walk the walk of Christ? With all that said, if you won't do what it takes to find the Truth, then don't even dare call yourself "awake" or a "truther" for you bring shame to such titles. I have already and through that, I found God. You can do the same.

Re: Would You Be Willing To Die For Your Faith?
This is truly a chilling question, because it causes us to consider whether we would have the strength and courage to profess our faith in the face of death.

I'm sure most of you remember Columbine, when members of the "trench-coat mafia" asked students if they believed in God before they were shot to death. Have you ever put yourself in that position, and pondered what you would do?

I cannot honestly say what I would do, I'd like to think that I would be brave enough to state my beliefs. What about you?
 Quoting: Rising Son

I would consider it suicide to admit to anything that would lead to your death. Suicide is still a sin right?

I got family, and people that rely on me. It would be selfish of me to let my PRIDE conflict with the well-being and safety of the people I care about.

Should I burn in hell?

Then your faith and obedience is in question. Because both assures protection. Definitely take heed to the obedience part, because a lot of "Christians" just have the former.

This is truly a chilling question, because it causes us to consider whether we would have the strength and courage to profess our faith in the face of death.

I'm sure most of you remember Columbine, when members of the "trench-coat mafia" asked students if they believed in God before they were shot to death. Have you ever put yourself in that position, and pondered what you would do?

I cannot honestly say what I would do, I'd like to think that I would be brave enough to state my beliefs. What about you?

Re: Would You Be Willing To Die For Your Faith?
The problem with that is, people think that death is the ultimate sacrifice.
But is it? Is it not a release? Being at peace? No suffering?
What about killing someone to stop someone else dying, and not dying yourself, and having to rot in jail for 50 years?
Is that not a worse sacrifice?

And you think God endorses this guy?

Re: Would You Be Willing To Die For Your Faith?
GOD did not give us the spirit of fear. When we die in CHRIST, we are with the LORD as soon as a blink of an eye.
If you break my wings, I will just find a cloud and learn to fly again. The Lord will catch you when you fall or teach you to fly! May the footprints I leave lead you to BELIEVE.

Remember what's at stake, an eternity in heaven, or an eternity in hell.

Keeping this in mind, it's an easy choice. Yes, I would die for my faith, and I won't deny Jesus Christ.

Again, your faith and obedience would be in question, because Fathers true children wouldn't be in such a situation, that would be against what He approves. Take special notice to the "children" part.

Re: Would You Be Willing To Die For Your Faith?
So no one will answer? Just Who or what are you willing to die for? The wallet or the Man Who owns it? Do you know that we all deserve the lake of fire? If the answer is "I don't want to go to the lake of fire",then you love the wallet.
