I was disgusted by my fellow humans today.
If and when TSHTF, most of us are going to die horribly.

I was on my way home tonight, Decided to stop at the store to grab some milk and beer.

So, I park my truck out towards the far end of the lot, as I always do, and am walking towards the entrance to the store.

I make it all the way to the door, and I hear a car horn blowing out in the parking lot.

There is a car that has just rolled into the far, empty end of the lot, just rolling along at idle speed diagonally across the lot, with the horn blaring constantly.

I stop, and I'm staring at this car, going "WTF?"

There are at least 10 people farther out in the lot, closer to this car, and their all doing the WTF stare for a minute.

Then, the car stops and just sits there with the horn still blaring.

All the sheep just keep looking at it with their WTF faces for a few seconds, then turn around and start heading inside like nothing is wrong.

Not a single one of them gave a damn, or wondered what was wrong.

I figured it was somebody having a heart attack or seizure behind the wheel.

I remember thinking, "WTF is wrong with you people?!" as I ran all the way back across the lot to this car.

NOBODY GAVE A DAMN

They all turned around and forgot about it, went back to shopping. Every single one of them.

Makes me wonder if humanity is worth saving.

Turns out, the guy was fine.

Just a mechanical failure. He said he hit his blinker switch to turn in, and the horn went off. He was just flipping switches and pounding his horn button, trying to get it to stop.

I had him pop the hood and I disconnected the horns, and my own heart attack subsided, lol.

similiar thing happened to me
when a blind man was near whining
he was just lost at the bus station

many around, few smiled at him, making jokes, many already observed him as he bounced on the fencing there

1 second and my body was hurling toward him, no questions, i got it all, even his face was talking: help!

no other made a move!

he was lost as i expected, can not find the bus to his home, i searched the right one and stayed with him till it arrived and all of them, waiting for the bus were waiting till i let them.. after him to borad the bus.. he was smiling and holding my hands in joy, as if he was trying to see into my eyes, he "looked" as if he can see.. this was the best reward for me

many predjudices, many false associations

so i undesrstand your worries
but i see it as inevitable for their own growth
where they do not made their part, they will get more of these situations on other occasions, graduating in manifestation, till they will end partially or fully disabled to see/grasp more!

..that, for wehat they have come here in the first place!

No one likes rowdy noise, as a way of reacting to it, people harden up, or become wary to their environments, it could also have been some crazy retard, fortunate for you ET there was an excusable reason for this offensive noise pollution.

If I hear someone leaning on the horn, I don't think he's probably having a hear attack. I think he's probably an aggressive idiot trying to enforce his will on everyone else.

Sad thing is, chances are high you saved one of those, who walk away.
"The world will soon wake up to the reality that everyone is broke and can collect nothing from the bankrupt, who are owed unlimited amounts by the insolvent, who are attempting to make late payments on a bank holiday in the wrong country, with an unacceptable currency, against defaulted collateral, of which nobody is sure who holds title."

Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.

The woman who is not pursued sets up the doctrine that pursuit is offensive to her sex, and wants to make it a felony. No genuinely attractive woman has any such desire. - H.L. Mencken, In Defense Of Women

I see people to into themselves to even think about helping their follow man.

For the one who helped the blind man, I thank you for being a real person and the one who went to the aid of the guy with the horn blaring, you were right, he could have been having a heart attack or some other health problem.

I don't know when people stopped caring for their follow man, but they should start back. They just may find that life changes for the better, when you allow yourself to care, it could become contagious.

It was very nice of the person to help the man with the blaring horn. But, seriously, I think many people are more afraid, than the fact that they don't care. I don't know how many of you live in an inner city with lots of crime, but people do tend to turn the other way to things like this sometimes out of a natural fear for their lives. Maybe that could be the case sometimes. The world has changed.

Not everybody is like that, fortunately.

On a side note, I was driving around with a friend and his car started doing the same thing.

Unfortunately we were at a stoplight behind a cop.

Not to be antagonistic, but it sounds like you were part of the crowd...?

It's the by-stander effect. The more people who see something happen, the less likely they are to take action.

Horrible to imagine being in trouble and no one would help. Imagine how the man in that car felt. Imagine how the blind man felt.

Thank you to those who see when someone needs them. Thank you for being somebody.
