Is Ohio really stupid enough to vote for Obama?

It isn't just Ohio. A majority of the voting population was stupid enough to vote for him only 4 years ago. Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large numbers.

Don't know about Columbus, they swing either way. but hopefully the mid to southern part of the state leads the way.

Ohio has INDEED felt the sting of this administration with one of the highest unemployment rates in the nation.
They "want" people to believe ohio is voting for him....I assure that at least the hundreds of thousands i talk too yearly do not want him re- elected!!! Remember in 08 all the buses that came to ohio and picked up homeless and took them to polling places and gave them free tennis shoes, ipods, and other "objects" and tood them to vote dem! As a matter of fact...it was on whiotv ch.7 that polling places actually had a LIST THEY WERE GIVING OUT OF ONLY DEMS W/ THEIR NAMES TO VOTE FOR. THESE PAPERS WERE FOUND AND GIVEN TO A REPORTER WITH WHIOTV. CH.7 AND THEY REPORTED ON IT.

If Cincy, Columbus and Toledo go Romney, the Obama is going to get trounced in Ohio. Outside of the large cities, it is pretty much all Republican. hell, democrats call the area I live in the sea of red, because no democrat is winning our county. Even last election, Obama only carried maybe 33% of the vote here. Not saying that's a good thing, but it is certainly a fact.

Where in the world did u live at in Ohio? Had ti have been one of the bigger cities....b/c the ppl in the country are are boiling mad at him. Lived back here from Houston for 26 yrs and never have seen ppl so angry and upset with one man.

Sorry to say, I'm seeing LOTS of Obama bumper stickers and yard signs in the Dayton area, a few for Romney... One (1) Gary Johnson sign in Englewood.

I live just outside Toledo, small town, but work in Toledo. I can tell you that yes, they are still heavy union, but I don't think they are all happy. Outside some of the union halls and places where I saw giant Obama signs in 2008, they are not there this time around, yet. All the faithful homeowners have their signs out already but nowhere near the number of them that were up in 2008. Most of the Romney signs I see are in people's windows, my guess is to prevent the theft of them. I was told by the door to door Romney supporter that they are behind printing and getting the Romney signs in.
Personally, I know 3 of my neighbors whom voted for Obama that despise him now. Trust me if you wish....I am a Ron Paul supporter and went Constitutional in 2008. I am very close to giving Romney a chance this time after discovering my personal views in the political test have him tied with Gary Johnson.

Yeah, the sad thing is, I've seen the same in Dayton. I think Montgomery County ends up going Romney though. His free yard signs aren't available yet.

I was bored so I checked what 2008 Florida turnout was

37% Democrat
34% Republican
29% independent

So in this poll they under-sampled Democrats by 1% and under-sampled Republicans by 7%, for a 6% net over-sampling of Dems.

It isn't meant just to discourage republicans. I know many democrats who will not vote obama and who will for this one time vote republican. It IS meant to sway undecided sheep voters - hoping if they get the message out that a "majority" is voting for Obama it will sway their easily sway-able minds to do what they think most are doing.

And to continue on that line of thought...everyone remembers in class when the teacher says raise your hands if you think X. And there are always about 10 in the class who have zero brain and gauge others' responses and what the majority is before they make a choice. THAT is who these inflated polls that show Obama leading are designed to reach.

I've lived in Ohio for most of my life. I can promise you that Ohio is stupid enough for anything. Keep in mind that this is the state that tried to outlaw Rock and Roll. This is also the state that publicly burned Beatle albums. Sorry to those I offended, but Ohio really sucks. It may well be the deadest state united.
