I am not a vegetarian, but i could go without meat if this could be done. There are bad vibes of suffering all over the Earth; we should end it. Both humans and animals...just imagine, sunshine and colors all clearer, more beautiful

I am however with you on doing away with the factory farm stuff......... or more accurately with what you are talking about............ intensive livestock operations. Huge hog barns and feed lots, chickens crammed into little cages spitting out eggs, chicken and turkey barns with thousands crammed into a building, pumped with antibiotics and fed till their little legs can hardly let them stand. Nothing was meant to live like that.

Back to family farms is where things need to go. Animals deserve a certain quality of life up to the day it is time for them to enter the food chain. Then they deserve to be killed with care and not traumatized during the process. This all can be done. But............ the whole system is screwed and it all comes down to greed by the big companies who force this system and control government.

You do realize that every time one of thses posts show up, a certain percentage of readers will go out of their way to eat something made of meat just to spite you, do you not? All you're doing is contributing to the meat-eating.

Honestly though.. I've tried the whole vegetarian thing and I'm not cut out for it. The instructor from my tai chi class was a vegetarian and while he said it was a great thing to do he agreed that it wasn't something everyone should do. I keep my meat portions low for the most part and leave it at that.

I like meat but hate factory farming and its cruelty.

The call to the grace of God whatever ones religion is ...Is to stop eating meat. It is a huge sin and one who shows no compassion for any living thing will not be allowed into Gods home whatever religion you are. God of all religions rules the heart of Love and Compassion. War, Eating his creatures, and Slandering and showing no Love will keep you out of Gods home.
