archangel means chief of the angels. Michael is not an angel but chief of the angels. It is preincarnate Jesus. OP's comment post was off tho.

Jesus is not called God Almighty, only the father creator is. Just look through the book of Revelation, it is always God the father and the lamb, Jesus is never called God, he is only ever called the lamb.

Jesus was not the old and new testament Angel of the Lord. When Jesus was born Michael God Almighty, the Angel of the Lord appeared to the Shepherds and announced Jesus's birth, it says the 'Glory'-Light of the Lord God shone upon the shepherds. Only God the father has this shining glory. Also at Jesus's resurrection Michael the father God descended as the Angel of the Lord and rolled back the grave stone and sat on it.

No, Jesus knew that when He came back for judgement day He would play both the Saviour and Lucifer to seperate the wheat from the chaff. He knew that until Peace had been officially established on Earth He would be both; and in both roles would be forced to take lives and lie.

It really riles me when people take away Michael the father creator God's glory, and say he is Jesus. Jesus never prayed to himself in the garden, he prayed to the father creator God.
