Songs of my heart

Inside my heart there is a star
Shining somewhere afar
Inside that light, burns a flame
Made of many colors of white
One in the same. 

Everything I see is a burning light
The people, the trees, the stars
The doves and the birds, Twirl above 
Like beautiful sparks  of light
Flames dancing on air, 
Without thought or care. 

The leaves falling from the trees
Float in the air with effortless ease
Fall where they please
Painting the earth with colorful patterns of leaves

A snowfall is a shower of light
Leaving a beautiful blanket of white 
Like clouds of heaven have touched the earth, to bring love and light and prepare for new birth. 

A pond each person I cross
I see a spark, and many are lost. 
Some are dim, others want to go out
There many who shine bright
Without doubt. 

In the end we are one
Born of the same flame
Made of many colors of white
We are one in the same.
