If you do a search on the orginal New Madrid earthquakes you will find that heavy bubbling in the rivers preceded and accompanied the quakes. The north/south fissures that opened many released a gas that gave the atmosphere a purplish tint.

Yes, I saw that. I think the large, on-going quakes at Queen Charlotte Islands is having an effect on Cascadia. That is something to watch closely. Especially since they put out that info on the creeping quake that has been going on for a long time in that area.

Yes. Every where the trees that look really dead are.

It has been looking that big from the fly overs for some time now. I think if they really checked out those trees they would have a better idea of how big it really is.

However I know nothing about this stuff. One of the locals posted that the trees always look that way this time of year, so I thought I was wrong. I was hoping I was wrong and I still am.
