I know. The mother was stupid though. You don't hang your kid over the railing of a predator den.

Yea me and my gf and her friend said the same thing.. what a idiot and now the boy will never get to enjoy life..

Yeah, really. Having children should come with an IQ test and responsibility test.

i saw a video once of a kid that fell into a cage with a silverback and the kid never got harmed at all....silverbacks are such gentle creatures not like African wilddogs,man they even take kills of lions..

If there had been an IQ test for potential parents years ago, the population of GLP would be a tiny fraction of what it is today.

We keep wild animals in tiny enclosures. We get everything we deserve if we fall in. Terribly sorry for the little boy, his mother was stupid, but all in all I think zoos are horrendous, awful places.

They shot and killed one of the dogs, surprised the cop haters and the animal lovers aren't bitching about it...

Great now people are going to hate and despise them. They are truly wonderful creatures, and very beautiful. I could be wrong, but I think they have one of if not the top hunting percentage in the animal kingdom.

Isn't that the truth.............. and further to that, it has a lot to do with the dumbing down of the populations, because the people cranking babies out one after the other are for the most part our 'trailer trash' segment of the population.

Intelligent people limited how many children they had several decades ago and typically it is rare to see the more savvy in our midst with more than two kids, and 1 to 1.5 is probably closer to the average. But the lower educated and lower IQ types just crank them out as they are worth money and increase the monthly check.

Obviously there are exceptions due to ethnic background/culture and religion............. but with North American born and raised this is truer than most will want to believe.

Yes, I read the dogs are endangered.

The mom made a terrible mistake, I cannot imagine how sick she must feel.

I'm sure that most understand that it was not their fault. Same as when lions or tigers attack people when they throw themselves into a cage.
This was just a horrible accident :(

I don't blame the dog for biting, I blame the mother for being an idiot.
